DONT believe anything you read about this pathetic losing team until you see the results on the ice. Ten years of promises from this team and they have yet to EVER live up to ANY WORD of it. Pathetic losing hockey is all this team has ever put out, so dont believe it till you see it live on Nationwide Ice!!! It is a bunch of quitting losers

Rick Nash is a huge part of the losing culture that is the Blue Jackets!! I also believe he is the reason the team quit last year. Fully believe it after what I watched last year for the last 55 games. Maybe they need to look into seriously trading Nash out of Dodge. Nash has never proved to Columbus fans that he has the heart or desire to Cup Championships, and dont see Nash ever proving he does have the heart!!!!!!!!!

I have no hobbies.
I love my mom.
I love our pets more.
I don't like the Blue Jackets.
What is hockey?

And here is the real problem with NHL hockey. Fighting as a part of the "sport" is ridiculous. I have watched plenty of Olympic and amateur hockey and fighting is not permitted and rarely if ever occurs. Only in the pros is this absurdity permitted -- even encouraged. If I want fighting, I can see a boxing match.

Buckeye Ron,

At least hockey is exciting to watch and the refs actually let the players play and get physical with each other. Football is on a fast track to becoming a flag football league with all the ridiculous penalties. You can't even touch the quarterback's helmet without getting a flag, tackles have to be made a certain way or guess what, a flag! Basketball is nauseating, bunch of tattooed whiners who only know how to dunk and miss 3-pointers. Nobody can make a simple 12 foot jumpshot anymore, and my god can somebody please call a foul when a player travels and palms the ball. Baseball is mind-numbingly boring and slow, seriously who watches baseball?

More of the same old pre-season talk. When talk meets reality they have always folded. Lace 'em up and show us something this year.

I've got an idea for you idiots who respond with the exact same whining to every article about the Blue Jackets: if you don't like the Blue Jackets and can't afford to pay for seats, why don't you stop reading the articles about the team and ignore them. That way the rest of us won't have to see your pathetic drivel.

Sorry, but you didn't really respond to the point I was making. A sport can certainly be exciting without the brawling. What is the point to fighting in NHL hockey? How does it advance the sport? Why is it tolerated? I just don't get it.
