Glendale is not a place for Hockey.

You naysayers out there in la la land have not a clue as to the potential of the success of NHL hockey in Glendale, AZ under proper management until you have been there to see it first-hand.As a Canadian I have been there & have observed a state of the art arena with devoted fans. What I was really impressed with was the recognition given to their former team (Winnipeg Jets) by honoring former stars with that team by the Ring OF HONOR. First class. The population is there to support a team just need to be educated on the game. Not too much though, I would still like to be able to buy a reasonably priced ticket when I am down there.

Garry from Canada..... "... the potential of the success of NHL hockey in Glendale, AZ ..." and the population "... just need to be educated on the game ..."

You're kidding, right? They've been there since 1996, ticket prices are insanely low (average ticket price just under $35), and they can't sell out on a regular basis. How long does it take the citizens to realize what a great opportunity / team they have ?

However if ticket prices increase in order to make it a viable business venture it'll only get worse and then you'll have to go to fewer games.

Steve really the Franchise a Joke......They went to the Western Conference Finals last year. They play great Hockey Playoffs three years in a row. I am a season ticket holder and I hate to say it but they would thrive as the Nordiques. They will have to Get Paul Stasny though. That would be the icing on the Cake.
The Franchise has been worked by Hulziser and now Jamison. Goode Luck Yotes. These players deserve a good owner and a full arena.

John form Yuma,
It's really sad for you (fans of Yotes). As a Québec city resident, back in 1995 we lost our team and they won the Stanley Cup the year after.
So i can understand what you guys from Arizona are now living.
Here in Québec, the new building will be ready for 2015(19 000)fans capacity. But if they(NHL)move the Coyotes to Québec this year, the old Colisée(16 000)fans capacity is ready. If the Yotes move to Québec
every game will be sold-out and the Montréal-Québec battle will be insane.
