College hockey seeks pain relief

A summit meeting between college hockey officials and NHL officials has convinced both sides they must improve a tense relationship that has boiled over in a couple of well-publicized incidents. Full Story

"Instead of losing a kid at the end of July or August, can it be June 1, so you can plan on your team?" Lucia said. "(NHL teams) worry about losing a player's rights after Aug. 15 (of his senior season); can something be done with that?"

Makes good sense Don, college hockey needs this!
