The Rangers trade for Rick Nash should not stop them from pursuing Evander Kane. Reportingly, it would take a 5 year $30 mil contract (6 mil per year) to make it happen. If the jets decline to match, it would cost the rangers a 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd round draft pick. The question is: is kane worth it????the Rangers have already forfeited their 1st round pick in 2013 for nash.So this would be for 2014. i like Kane, but not sure if i want to part with another 1st rounder in back to back years along with a 2nd and 3rd.
