YUP,

I have Been thinking about this one a lot.

Ever since that moment 48 hours ago when Gionta inked the 2 points with his understanding that on a PENALTY SHOT, THE SHOOTER ALWAYS HAS A MAJOR ADVANTAGE AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TO SCORE...EVERY TIME...CAUSE IF THE SHOOTER BUILDS UP ENOUGH SPEED COMING IN, THE GOALIE HAS ALMOST NO CHANCE EVERY SINGLE TIME.

SO...2 PTS IN THE BAG...AND YA KNOW PRICE IS GONNA BIATCH THAT HE WANTS TO PLAY TONIGHT...BUT AT THIS POINT...after all that has happened...and with the follwing pretty much established by now...

#1- The Team jus plays better when Halak is in net.

#2- Of the 2 Goalies...Halak is the more steady and consistent.

#3- He played , again, an incredibly solid and composed game with all his angles covered and did not let in a stupid through the 5 hole goal.

#4- He hasn't complained once through this entire rediculously failed experiment of Pumbing up a Goalies stature based on past Jr leagues Performances and accolades when the kid hadn't accomplished a bloddy thing at this vastly superior level of Hockey play. Halak rather took Prices insane promotion in the organization with a grain of salt, as we all had to the firing by BOB GAINEY of 2 FANTASTIC COACHES because quite simply they suggested to Bob Gainey what I am suggesting to you right now... and has prooved himself 40 times in the last 3 seasons alone.

HALK STARTS IN GOAL TONIGHT VERSUS THE ISLANDERS OR WE HAVE TO GET BOB GAINEY RELIEVED OF HIS DUTIES AS GM OF THIS TEAM!!!

IT WOULD JUST PLAIN BE MORE INCOMPETENCE AND INSANITY IF PRICE STARTED TONIGHT AND I SUSPECT BOTH MEM, MARTIN AND GAINEY, ARE DUMB ENOUGH AT THIS POINT TO DO IT !!!

I think you are right sparty,Halak should get the starting spot and price should be played sparingly .. He is just not ready for the job and it is now debatable if he ever will be.. Its another case of putting a guy in the big league way too soon... I think he has had his career ruined because Gainey thought he was another Ken Dryden,, Shame on Gainey !

I would KEEP STARTONG HIM AND I WOULD MAKE SURE LARAQUE IS NO WHERE EVEN NEAR THIS TEAM

SINCE HAVING MADE THESE 2 LITTLE CHANGES I HAVE BEEN SCREAMING ABOUT FOR A LONG LONG TIME...

THE HABS HAVEN'T LOST IN 4 GAMES !!!
