This team's done for this season. They've quit on everybody.

Including the captain. As bad as his team is, all he's got to point to are World Championships and Olympics.

The CBJ might as well loose out (looks like its the plan after watching the Kings' game) and get a high pick.

Of course with the worst record for drafting and developing players in he league, what does it matter.

What a pathetic bunch of losers. Guess it wasn't all Hitch after all. They need to make a cheerleader skirt for the Noel.

Could it be that the BJ's owners only want to make money from idiots willing to buy tickets and expensive food and drinks, not really caring about a "winner"!?

It's more obvious Nash doesn't want to be in Columbus...too bad he won't give the effort like he he did at the Olympics...should have dumped him last week

Wow, getting rid of Torres and Modin is sure paying off for us. Great consistency from Mason, too...

I don't want to see this team fold, but I also don't want to watch this team continue to be this bad. Who really wants to spend $100 plus on tickets then $9 beers. Really, keep ticket prices the same, drop food and drink prices by 25-50%. I am sick of dropping $150 plus to watch this team get beat the way that have. CBJ brass, stop being greedy. Do what is right. Lower the prices, it will lead to more people in the seats, more people buying food and drink. Above all, get some guys who want to WIN!

What, no mention of the word "playoffs" in the article or how many points the BJ's are out of the last playoff spot??? Hey Arace or Hunter, where's the next "drooling" commentary around Mason? Oh I know...he'll probably have 5 shutouts in the last 5 games of the year when the Jackets are 20 points out of the last playoff spot. Then one of you will write some puff piece about how its just so nice to carry some momentum into the offseason. Excuse me while I go puke.

dear newswriters: do me a favor and please write an article showing us who was a CBJ at this time last year and who is not a CBJ now... perhaps we can analyze if maybe so much shuffling of players is really screwing us up. i still have a game in my season package, and USUALLY, i attend the season finale, and i would like to know who the who?jackets really are as an organization and team. it seems there may be something stinky going on beneath all the fluff. still trying to decide if i will renew my seats... aw heck, i will. i love the game and it's a lot cheaper than scalping OSU tickets. thanks in advance anyway.

When are these clowns going to get their heads out of their behinds and play hockey? 11 total shots, are you serious? One Kings player outshot the team by himself through 2 periods. These panseys that gave up on Hitchcock and got him fired and got their feelings hurt by Noel saying they were out of shape are disgusting. Maybe Howson will start getting rid of the people that don't want to be here and keep some of the ones that do like Torres, or Howson can take a long walk on a short pier too!

I am truly p*ssed about Modin. That d-bag played injured three quarters of the time he was in Columbus, and skated like he should have retired 5 years ago. Then he gets traded and he's a scoring threat again, and his wheels are back. It's like what Zherdev did after we sent him to the Rangers. For whatever reason, people here are allowed to stop putting in their all and their is absolutely NO repercussion for it. I don't care if you have to bench guys and play the game short-handed, you send a message if people are halfassing it like that.

Hope for a new coach, with some passion and a whole lot of energy, for next season or we're toast.

Anon., love your truck post, right on...BUT Modin is total class, played hurt, had his legs back recently, and has better support for scoring after the trade. Plus, trades spike performance temporarily. Comparing him to Z? An affront to your(?)hockey smarts.
Just look at the health Modin enjoyed in the rest of his career.

The CBJ might not even make it five years before they pack it in. Big deal.

As for soccer, we'll take it. The Crew won a title more recently than anybody in Cincy has. Bearcats basketball isn't what it used to be, the football team was exposed as a fraud and you don't have a winter sport. The Bengals are mediocre at best and the Reds are a farm team in major league clothing. I'd not laugh to hard.
