Yep, another in the decade long tradition of the Wild signing tons of 4th line centers.

Way to go Risebrough, oops I mean Fletcher. Aw what the heck, they are the same GM.

He's a solid 3rd or 4th line center who is good on the PK and faceoffs. He wont be an offensive powerhouse, but he'll work hard and play physical. I'm glad we got a deal done.

Risebrough signed ahl caliber 4th liners over the years, this kid has already shown he can play in the NHL. He'll do very well with Clutterbuck on a checking line. Fletcher signed Havlat at a great price. DR would have traded a few 1st round picks to get Todd White back and handed out the koolaid to people like you who can't tell the difference.

Brodziak is obviously a good player, but is this not the difference maker that the team needs. Where will the offensive punch come from?

Brodziak is a bum. He's the prototypical dump and chase grinder. Thank God we locked him up for three years. The Wild could call-up any AHL player and have them do the same thing.

I don't think this is the end of the moves. With the pickup of Dubielewicz, I am guessing that Harding will be on the move, hopefully for a top 6 offensive player.

Hello? It's the end of July. With exception of Kessel and maybe Holik, there's not much but filler left for FA's. Maybe Josh will be part of some super-deal that lands Kessel. In the meantime, we have 4 centers and dont have to look to Butchsquirt or sleepwalker Pouliot to fill 4th spot. Like I've said before, the offense has to come from the guys who are here; Boogy shouldn't have to shoulder that top spot in +/- category LOL. Pumped fo 10/6!!

Risebrough handed out koolaid with roofies in it and people like you drank it and loved him. In this offseason, we downgraded overall. Way to go Fletcher. Keep pocketing our money like the previous regime did.

Kyle's a half-decent faceoff guy who kills penalties above-average. Mostly, vanilla ice cream.

My goodness have you negative guys no faith in God ? St Paul has been happy as a kid in a candy store just getting NHL, now the kid wants a burger with beef. Ownership and management of the Wild must think we know nothing about hockey, then how come we keep buying tickets ? Come next spring when the Wild have been tamed again the paying folks are going to want some heads to roll. Then maybe get some brains in those hats.

I was an original season tix holder with front row club level seats.

For years I faced the dilemma of watching high minor league hockey while paying major league prices. I kept telling myself "if you give these tickets up you'll never get them back."

Well like years past I spent most of the season looking at my watch, bored, hoping the refs wouldn't blow the whistle too many times in the third period so the clock would keep running and I could get out of there at a reasonable time.

Well I finally decided to shut it down and I was worried I would regret it after it appeared maybe some change was coming. Not writing a giant check this summer was really nice, and now that I see the team has no intention of actually acquiring some real NHL players I'm completely at peace with the decision I made.

To whoever will be sitting in my $85 seat, I hope you enjoy watching the exact same team you could see if you lived in Houston, Seattle, or Scranton.

There is nothing better than NHL hockey at it's finest. Too bad this franchise since DAY ONE has never had any intention of actually fielding a fine NHL team.......

We? Our? You're from Wisconsin. I heard rumor Risebrough was offered AD job in Madison, and was talking to Skoula about head coaching job (you give us Favre, its only fair)

Not from Wisconsin. From St. Paul. This is a second hand computer, maybe that's why it says Wisconsin.

And for the record. Favre likes little boys.

Gotcha. Agreed. Apparently he's sticking w/ HS team. Now back to Wild or it'll start to look like Russo's comment column. I'd like to see something more shake out offensively, too, but seriously, some current guys gotta step up. Boogy leading +/- for stretch last year had me pi***d off. If a handful step up and we get 30 shots more often would be a start. Hoping Brodziak is good face-off guy. Need that.
