This upcoming home stand is crucial. We could be back in the thick of the playoff race or out of it completely after next week. Let's get moving Jackets!

no patience left. it's garon time. let's not allow this to affect our team morale any more than it already has. in the end you cannot deny masons natural ability nor can you deny what is going on between his ears. this team is better than this. lets give garon 2 of 3 starts for the next month or so (barring major improvement) i bet he wakes up.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If its December, the CBJ must be playing their way out of the playoffs. Its as predictable as the winter solstice. At least we shouldn't have to put up with anymore CD articles saing the fans aren't supporting the team the way it deserves (such as that really short span when the team was actually looking like it could win). This team gets exactly the amount of support it deserves. 10 years of losing hockey. Pathetic.

Go CBJ. and keep on going to some other city.

Why Arniel didn't pull Mason after the second goal is beyond me - 2d game in a row with 2 goals on 4 shots. He has got to be sent down to the minors. His skills and confidence are both shot. First Marc Denis, then Pascal Leclaire, now Mason. Not only can't we find a franchise goalie we can't even judge goalie talent. Get Garon in and send Mason out

Start MG over SM. SM and the turnovers are killing the team. Better fire these guys up or more seats will become empty... SM looks like he is lost out on the ice..... MG has better save % and given more playing time should develope into a nice #1...

I have no doubt that Arneil would love to sit Mason or better yet to send him to get his confidence back at Springfield (a ls Filatov). Howsom is pulling the strings on Mason "our francise goalie". Just another case of Howsom waiting to long to correct the problem (a puck moving defenseman).

I have held on for ten years but my fingers are getting mighty tired of holding on!

Still a fan, just discouraged. Put team A out there every night and leave B, C, D at the Chiller.

Mason needs to find his game. And he needs to find it in Springfield not in Columbus. I am starting to have flashbacks of last season and our team is good enough to compete. Give up a goal or two with sloppy D but all of these soft goals that are slipping by are out of the question. We can score 2 or 3 goals a night not 7 or 8 to get the victory.

You're a loser, this franchise is hopeless. They'll be gone within 5 years to an actual city that can support pro sports. Then lowly ole columbus will be back to being the amatuer town it always has been.
HA! If you guys can keep the Bungles in Cinci...we can hold on to the Jackets. Don't you worry about that my friend.

Mason's new contract doesn't start until next year. He still has a 2 way contract and wouldn't have to clear waivers. He can still be sent down and then back up. Something needs to be done with him, but giving up at him at this point would be foolish. He will find his way and some point gain some mental toughness that he obviously is lacking right now. No one is more embarrassed by his play then he is. Years of losing have worn on me as well, but keep the faith! Let's beat Dallas again tomorrow night!

Where oh where is Danny LeCoste? I may not have spelled his name right, but I remember the Blue Jackets bringing him up 2 years ago when he started twice at goalie and won two games, one by shutout. He was released this past September. We could use a guy like him now! Doesn't Mr. Howson know how important it is to have good goaltending? What? Question too rediculous?

Mason is part of the problem. What about the rest of the story? No hitting, no racing to the puck? juice is fresh and a non-factor. Umberger is the only material we have for captain. Trade Nash and you send a signal to everyone who is a CBJ player or fan.J
