It's amazing how all you do is patrol Islander and Ranger message boards, yet you still have no comeback to 1 in 70!(by the way, don't copy me, your not talented enough)

Everyone feels the same way, Penguin fans, Flyer fans, Capital fans, Canadian fans, Devil fans.

The Rangers are the laughingstocks of the league. So what if the Isles are irrelevant to you or anyone else, you still can't defend your laughingstocks

Someone wrote on another board that the Islanders haven't won a playoff series since 1993. I don't think it is true. Can anyone confirm?

I'm not really a hockey fan, but I cannot believe it is true. Just think, since that time the Yankees won 4 WS, the Ranger won the cup and went to the conference finals another year, the Knicks were in two NBA finals, the Mets were in the WS, the Nets made the NBA finals, the Giants won the SB, the Jets went to the AFC Conference Championship Game, the Devils won three Cups........ and you're going to tell me that the Islanders haven't won once measley playoff series? Stop it.

It's definitely true. They have not won since they beat the Pens in 1993. Still, the Isles fans love to smacktalk about other teams since they haven't had anything positive to talk about for 15 years. Wasn't it great how I took out that cheap shot artist Peca years back. Truly classic.

I said before and I'll say it again....even if the Rangers didn't win in '94 they would be 100 times more prevalent then the Islanders...wearing envy is an ugly choice for Islander fans.....

The only thing the Isles win is the lottery. And they still manage to screw that up. See: Shakey Knees DP & soon to be every goons whipping boy, John Tavares

Who determines who the laughing stock of the league is ? You Oh and for the record I don't believe Capitol fans should be included in your survey. How many cups do the Caps Have ? A comeback for 1 in 70, 1 cup since WWII, or any other brilliant statement you make is not really necessary. While winning the Cup is the ultimate, there are teams that have never won one so I guess there is more than 1 laughing stock. How about a comeback for this- The first overall pick in the draft belongs to one of the bottom feeders in the league and since the inception of the draft in 1963, what team has had this first pick more times than anyone-don't get a migraine thinking with that small brain it is the icelanders.Inept more times than any other team.

OK, you want to use 1963 as a start point...cool.

How many cups have the Rags one since 1963? And how many have the Isles won since 1963?

Oh, don't blow an O-ring thinking about it......

Rags are the biggest and most expensive bunch of losers!!!

Are you drinking the potato vodka from east Quoge? you missed the point.
You rate organizations by the cups won and obviously when they were won.The winning of the cup is one of the measures of an organization but not the only one. There are teams that have never won a cup so are they as an organization a laughing stock ?
While your team shot its load in the early 80s the majority of the time they have been a disgrace. The most first picks in the draft is one example of their ineptness. Not winning a single playoff round since 93 is another.Thats 16 years so don't get a headache.

That is correct. It all started with the 1994 playoffs when they got completely destroyed by the rangers. They havent even given their fan base a scintilla of hope of making it to the second round since then.

Since that time the rangers have won over 10 playoff series
the knicks have won plenty
the jets have actually won some playoff rounds
the giants have won a superbowl
the liberty have made it to 2 wnba finals and have won several playoff series
the mets have actually won a few series and made it to the world series one year
the yankees have won 4 championships

who am I missing

the metrostars/red bulls have won series

In fact we can go to the new jersey nets
the devils
the sabres

hell lets go through the entire eastern seaboard.

Yes, the isles have been that bad.

Yet clowns like this guy who have not seen their team win one single playoff series come to talk crap

exactly. They dont comprehend this.
Since 1972, for all but 8 or 9 total years, the islanders have been a disgrace. Not that they just havent won the cup, but they have been one of if not the worst teams in the league that season.

so basically 80 percent of the time, the isles have been crap.

The rangers may not have won that many cups, but they were at least competitive.

Would have won alot more cups if we didnt have to play 7 game double overtime series with the last 5 games being away because of the circus...of course isles fans dont know much about hockey history and never bring up stuff like that

Ooohh ooohh ooooh.....and the Isles would have one more cups too but Bryan Trottier had an ingrown toenaill on BOTH of his big toes and Mike Bossys mothers aunt was in the hospital with rickets.......but of course you dwouldn't know about pertinent hockey history.....all you do is support a hockey team that throws money at the Stanley Cup and HOPE it comes their way......Hows the brand new roster look this year? As good as the brand new roster last year?....and the one before that?

Bwahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!

All the money in the world and they STILL can't buy a cup!!!!!

Quogie doesn't care what the point is. As the Ranger obsessed slob that he is he'll just make up a new one. Considering the fixated moron he is his level of hockey knowledge is laughably non existent.

Mess has a point here, I came to NY, to win a cup, we won a few rounds in 97, but then I got to play on a line with PJ Stock? My Agent told me the Rangers would stop at nothing to win, and they left me out in the cold!

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Leo

You'll be action-oriented today, Leo. If truth be told, intense physical activity has the ability to soothe you much more than frenzied mental exercise. Invitations to madness are the wrong thing for you, but they are tempting nonetheless. Dig in your heels and do what you know you have to do. When driving this evening, take extra care.
