I hope you're right, because with Havlat and Khabby the Blackhawks already did make it to the playoffs... all the way to the conference finals. This team really clicked together, on and off the ice. Building on last season's experience, they were certain to be even better this season.

But, that was Tallon's team, not McDonough's. McD has his own way of doing things, including replacing the team's best player, and from the looks of it the organization's comaraderie has already been damaged.

We'll have to wait and see how McD's decisions will impact the Hawks ability to win games this fall. It's already impacted how some fans feel about the "new" Hawks organization.
