Thoughts that have remained dormant for years have worked to the front of my brain this week.

Clearly you do not know the Colorado Adam Foote. He has been loyal to the Avalanche organization even when we were at the worst team in the NHL last season. He has a relationship that you can not possibly understand. Denver sports fans are unlike any in this great country. He has had a special relationship with Joe Sakic and the fans in Colorado. I drive over 70 miles to got to an Avalanche game. Adam Foote is my son's hero next to my husband who is a deputy sheriff. The Avalanche give to the community such as Children's Hospital. He is now our captain and he has huge shoes to fill with Joe Sakic being our only captain since the Avalanche came to Colorado. He has taken in a young 18 year old player with great potential, Duchene lives with Adam and his wife. This is his family and you should accept the fact that he wanted to return. Everyone makes mistakes and I believe Adam realized that when he left Colorado, now he is home and we love him and our team which happens to be the best in the NHL. So pound sound, pal.
