Careful of what you wish for--the Kid is playing friggin' possessed right now. But so is Eric Staal, I guess. Should be a good series. I can't wait to see what competitive fire comes out in the Staal brothers matchup (and Jordan's line probably will be matched up against Eric's A LOT).

Going to the net and scoring on a rebound is now a "fluke" goal, according to this moron.

Wouldn't be so sure there. Nice game last night. Cindy Crosby really made her presence felt didn't she?

You're smug because our fourth-liners are scoring against you? Well, okay... Take consolation where you can find it, I guess. What do you think the score is going to look like when Crosby DOES have a really good night?

One game does not a series make. That's why they play to get 4 wins.

As for Cindy, in the 4 regular season games he had a stellar 1 goal and 6 assists. In the last two meetings against Carolina, he has 0 goals, 1 assist. Looks more like Carolina has a good system in keeping Cindy under control.

Pens won, woo hoo.

Keep that brilliant system in place. I'll take the wins, and the goals, no matter who scores them. As far as that bitingly original "Cindy" stuff goes, you just haven't been paying attention, or don't know much about hockey if Crosby's toughness isn't apparent to you.

Wow, a one goal win @ home. Fans looked a little worried there in the last 2 minutes. I might get worried if we get behind by three games, maybe.

I'm not worried, exactly, but I think the 'Canes are capable of winning this series. I've said from the beginning that these are two pretty comparable teams. I'd give the Pens the edge in firepower, the 'Canes the edge in goaltending, though both those edges are pretty thin. One thing I really do like about the 'Canes is that you have a classy, grown-up coach--pretty refreshing after the having to listen to the likes of John Stevens and Bruce Boudreau.

Thanks, I agree this is going to the team that wants it more, and stays injury free. Pretty evenly matched.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aries

A certain person is being very feisty and fiery today. You may also suspect that they're looking for an argument and will provoke you until you rise to the bait. Trigger points include shared finances, sex and any topic that is currently supposed to be off-limits. You'll probably discover that you want to clear the air, but don't get carried away.
