I was listening to ESPN this morning, where whatever douchebag-of-the-moment they had opposite Barry Melrose was basically handing the Cup to Detroit. He was so impressed by their win over Chicago that he said "The Redwings won the Cup last year, and I can't imagine them not winning it this year. They're just so deep..." Has this guy been watching what's happening on the Eastern side of the playoffs? The Pens are on the verge of sweeping a team that's better than Chicago, while Detroit is 3-1, and probably ought to be 2-2 (the 'Hawks should have had Game 2). No disrespect to the 'Wings, who are indeed an unbelievably deep, talented team, but anyone who discounts the Pens at this point is a moron.
