He's an American, so NBC is a natural fit.

Great performance in this series, and it was fitting that Habby was the star of this elimination game. That rounds it out to a total team effort in moving on to Round 2.
What was most encouraging for me was how the team acted when time ran out. They didn't act like they won the Cup already, much like MLB teams do when they win their divisions; all the hopping around and champagne when they haven't won a thing yet. Our guys looked like they were totally aware that they haven't won anything yet, and that's the way you'd expect a group of veterans to act, not the youngest team in the league.
As Pierre McGuire said: In Chicago, the kids are all right.
I can hear the theme song going right now...thanks to The Who!
I noticed that too and was very impressed by the reaction. Khabi was the only one who raised his stick at the end and he should have as he was the player of the game. You can be happy with the success so far but there is a lot more work to do. In reference to the baseball celebrating, what about the ridiculous reaction by a team after a walk-off win in a REGULAR season game? Someone is going to get hurt in one of those scrums. eventually.

Awesome series! I was on the edge of my seat, literally, the entire game.

I'm listening to Burish on ESPN 1000 right now and he's already talking trash about the Caknuckle Heads. He's saying how he doesn't think the "Sedin Sisters" are ever more than 5 feet from one another. Actually referred to them as sisters. Man, I love that guy.

This series with Vancouver should be better than the Falmes series. Nucks have been peaking and Luongo has been out of his mind. I'm so pumped.

It's been nice to see how the scoring has been spread around, much like in the regular season. Seems like a different hero every night. I love hockey in May in Chicago, but I would like it even more in June.

We were not going to have to face Detoilet. We would have played San Jose had they not blown.
Not that it really matters, I've just seen a couple of these comments.
You're right, sorry. Still, I'd rather be visiting Vancouver than San Jose. I still think Detroit is the scariest Western foe (and I thought so even before SJ was knocked out). Remember, we split the season series with SJ.

hmm, so he's hung around long enough to win a bunch of games, but that's it. and he always leaves teams under the craziest circumstances. oh, well, he can dry his tears on all the money he's made.

I'm pretty sure you haven't seen the Canucks play a single game this year and yet you comment as if you know them well. They are more physical than Calgary and your hawks combined and if you think all you need to do is shut down the twins, you could be in for a surprising and really disappointing series. And the only time I see the hawks get physical is when they are on the wrong end of a blowout like the last time we played and then they get physical with their cheap shots and dirty play. That's hawks hockey baby! Still I'll give them some credit and say with 100% accuracy Canucks in 6.

The sedin sisters are physical? Wait until eager unloads on one of the sisters they will crawl to the bench

Burish really called them the Sedin sisters on the radio? Awesome! There's something not right with those boys. That "I'm a grown man and I don't want to play without my brother" thing says alot. Unfortunately, they're talented sad sacks and will require our attention.

Again, I wouldn't freak out over Luongo. His career playoff record going into this year was 5-7. He's now 9-7 after sweeping the spirited but talent challenged Blues. He could never carry the Panthers to the lofty heights of even an 8 seed.(where would Columbus have finished without Mason?) His playoffs stats are impressive (save%,GAA) but apparently he finds a way to lose when it matters. Don't beat yourself by trying to always make a perfect shot or making one too many passes. Shoot, shoot, shoot!!

I've watched alot of Canucks games on CenterIce and I don't even want to comment on their so called toughness. Since when is running your mouth considered an act of aggresion?

Indeed, sir! The playoffs have been a major productivity killer here at work! I can't imagine the clock moving any slower than it does in the morning and afternoon of a gameday (well maybe it moved slower in the 3rd period last night!).
I'm pretty sure my heartrate last night sitting on my couch was about equal to the level it reaches while playing in my men's league games!
So how long is it until the next game?
Didn't see any thing about the next series schedule. Any one know??

Pierre McGuire sings the praises of whomever is winning. He picked Calgary to win the series at the outset.
But he was smart enough to recognise and comment on a job well done by Buff and also the job Seabrook did on shutting down Iginla.

I don't know, it kind of seems like a cop out to me to make a prediction that Vancouver will end the Hawks' "Cinderella Run" but then to say if that doesn't happen, you will cheer the Hawks on...if you're gonna talk trash, then troll away, but don't qualify all your bold prognostications (that you pretty much declare as facts) with a bunch of buts. Kind of like pulling someone's hair during a fight!
Here's my prediction: Hawks in 6. And I won't say that if the Canucks beat the Hawks that I will be happily rooting for the Canucks. Heck no! I will be ****ing p*ssed that my team lost!
The series will go 7 games.Vancouver will be leading 3 games to 2 going into the UC for game 6. The Canucks will want to end it here but the Hawks say no way!! We win a come from behind win in OT. The Canucks can't recover from blowing their chance to put us away at the UC. Game 7 we go into Vancouver and smoke them. My son in law lives in BC on the Sunshine coast so I am sure he won't be thrilled with my assessment but Greg ( my son-in-law) family is one thing but hockey is life.

I will waer my Hawks jersey with a lot of pride.

Ben our speed worn the Flames down. The way we kept coming at them was fantastic. There are a lot of fans wearing their jerseys today with a well deserved pride.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Sagittarius

Be careful about what you eat and drink today, my prancing Archer. Your body is in a sensitive state, so be well advised and steer clear of anything that might upset you, or to which you're sometimes allergic. Avoid anyone who's a one-man germ factory, in case a few bugs happen to jump out and over to you. Right now, you could do without it.
