NY Senators oppose Coyotes' relocation bid

U.S. Sens. Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand of New York are opposed to the Phoenix Coyotes relocating to southern Ontario because it would have a potential "crippling" effect on the Buffalo Sabres .

Perhaps if your town can't support a team with hometown fans you shouldn't have one. If Hamilton can support a team then why shouldn't they get one? Boo hoo Buffalo.

It is part of the sabres market. It dosent mader if its over a bridge. The same way it wouldent work if newark and jersey city both had a team.

The fact of the matter is these two morons should stick to what they know which isn't much.You cannot get a ticket in Toronto because there are none to be had. There is a market for this team and the guy has tons of money to do it right. Short term the Sabres would be hurt slightly long term they would be better off. It would also force them to remain competitive.
