Another season lost. JM enjoy your last days in South Florida. Will you get fired tomorrow or will they wait until Sunday? The sooner the better.

Who do I call to cancel my tickets for next year?

It's over. Fire JM. Maybe next year we can come out with a way better PP. That's what dragged the team down.

canadians got a point we are done, good season but bad goaltending and lack of scoring got us this year.

trade vokoun & horton, give bowmeester a swift kick in the ass on the way out the door and take dumbo the g.m. with him

this team needs someone with passion to lead them, i thought deboer did an ok job but we need someone to teach our players how to hit and not glide backwards all the time like a bunch of p---ies.

I want to see a more physical team on the ice next year, here we go again THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR

Useless win. The Rangers won and Montreal takes the 8 spot from the Panthers by getting to OT against the Bruins (they're guaranteed a spot since the best the Panthers can do is tie them and they hold the second tiebreaker).

That's that. The Panthers were the last team eliminated, but they were eliminated nonetheless. JM can blow it out his ass; this season is an inept failure.

See you all next October. Hopefully we'll have something to talk about other than another bloody wasted season.

Not being in the playoffs is the best thing for the Panthers..
Now Cohen will sell the team, or blow out Martin and Yormark, and hand the reigns over to NHL talent, not PT Barnum characters..
Cohen has ruined NHL hockey in this market..
The Rah Rahs now need to awaken and see the real problem with this team..
We are all fans, but we all didnt see the problem clearly..
Do not blame the players, they played as well as they could..The blame is with management, for asssembling another team of mediocre and poor mix players.. De Boer is a good motivator..Thats not enough.. Cheerleaders are available, good coaches are rare.

Hey, last week when they beat the Penguins and some of you said it was a "playoff atmosphere" at the BAC,

curious, how would you know?

Not likely; the economy is going to crash within the next few months, martial law will be enforced, civil war will ensue, and basically all hell's going to break lose. There will not be any sports for the next few years, if ever.

Who didn't see that coming! This team has no heart. They all get the big pay check whether they show up or not! These wimps aren't physical and they don't play in front of the net!! Say goodbye to Jay. i enjoyed watching him play and will always come to see him play in our arena. Season tickets for next year? I doubt it. It's just not worth it anymore. By the time you get gouged for the food and drinks, it ain't worth it. My Bro has season tix to the Capitals and he pays $60 to sit 3 rows up from the glass. Where's the value Cohen????

Get rid of Jay Bo. He stinks.

Horton has no regularity.

McLean plays hard and accomplishes nothing.

Weiss needs to learn to shoot after playing 400 games. A joke.

Vokoun is over-rated and over paid.

Anderson is underpaid and under rated.

JM has proven ineffective.

Debour did a decent, but not a great job. He wrecked his chances by punishing Boynton and ruining the team chemistry and what little passion they have.

Cancel my tkts for next year too.

Dissapointing over all

Well...at least the team is consistent...granted it's nine years of ineptitude but it's still consistent.
Anyways congrats boys, the team just barely missed but they're about to take two steps back. Bouw and Anderson will be gone next year, the salary cap is going down and you have money tied up long term in underperforming assests (See Horton and Olesz)....Nice state of the franchise...they're giving away a bunch of tickets for the 09 campaign even before the season has started ("Playoff Promise my @ss")! Nice marketing ploy Yormark. Way to alienate your season seat holders before the 09 season even gets started. No wonder the team is hemmoraging money. Nice leadership....Consistently pathetic...

How many years in a row will the panthers continue this stuff, play just well enough late in the season to just miss the playoffs? Getting old.

How is goaltending the problem when the team ranks 11th in the league in GAA while also ranking dead last in shots against per game?

Vokoun might not be an elite goalie, but he's not the reason they are out of the playoffs. The problem lies with a lack of goal scoring talent and significant weakness at the center position. This team has just one bona fide center and that is Weiss, though on any good team he is really a second line center.

Oh, and DeBoer didn't do an OK job - he actually did a great job considering how little talent he had to work with. But it won't matter as given the history of this organization, it's quite possible that when Cohen fires Martin and hires a new GM, that guy will demand to bring in his own coach (and Cohen will say yes) and DeBoer will be either sent packing or up to Rochester.

as we speak, hopefully jm is cleaning out his desk, and j bow is looking over his map of philadelphia. deboer did a good job.don't think he's thrilled with vokoun, who is overrated.you really have to wonder where this franchise goes from here.once again, should be an interesting off season. sat nite against caps meaningless. too bad.

If Bouwmeester stinks so much, then why is it that while the Panthers do lose, they tend to shut down the other team's stars - like the way Bouwmeester shut down Kovalchuk tonight and he's done night after night when he's asked to play 27 minutes including matchups with the other team's top line.

But hey, same moronic comments were made about Luongo and he's since proven that he is an elite player.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Virgo

Unfortunately, this looks like being another difficult day, and, as Mars turns retrograde, certain people are quick to take offence or raise their voices. Make sure you aren't adding to the tension by doing or saying something that's provocative or even downright insulting. If you get involved in a shouting match it will be difficult to stop and you could say some nasty things in the heat of the moment.
