As everybody knows, there is more than one kind of hockey. There is Philadelphia Flyers hockey and Vancouver Canucks hockey, Detroit Red Wings hockey and Anaheim Ducks hockey.

Good to know what 12 year-old Flyers fans think, but Ovechkin is clearly not the best player. He might be the best pure goal-scorer the league has seen in a long time, and he packages that incredible sniping ability with an unusual physical toughness--I'll give you all that. Ovie cares about winning just as much as anyone else and is capable of all that "inspiring" just as much as other great players.

I didn't notice Pascal Dupuis up there in scoring like Backstrom, since he was playing with Crosby for a while.

Dupuis is not as good a player as Backstrom--not even close. I didn't say Crosby could work miracles.
