Professional hockey, at its highest level, will be ruined if this season is washed out. What would be the possibility of another group of owners banding together with the NHLPA and starting a new league for next season. Most of these current teams are either in public facilities and these fat cat owners are tennants. I'm sure if the venues offer fair rates, others who have been trying to get into the Band of Brothers would follow along with some of the
hockey-owners like Ed Snider and Mario Lemieux. If the season is cancelled I will end my 57-year following of pro hockey and happily settle for Junior A, and college and high school. Plenty of great hockey out there that you don't have to mortage the farm to see.
