Jos: Soldiers get shoot-at-sight order

BY TAYE OBATERU Jos-Soldiers patrolling Jos, Plateau State capital, received shoot-at-sight orders yesterday after a group of youths killed an ad-hoc staff of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and set his body on fire on Monday.

everyday lives are lost in Jos on both sides. Most of the killings are carried out by Muslim army who go into villages at night a murder innocent women and children. Then christian reteliate by killing innocents Muslims who like many christians do not want this killings to on. I am asking the international community to do something about such violence in Jos. But i have a feeling nobody cares about this crisis because we do not have oil in the noth. Nigerians must wake up and see themselves as one because no one win this, the only road is peace. Who live under the same sky and it was meant to be like that and nobody will separate our communities. I am pleading to our brothers and sisters both Muslims and Christians to stop this bloodshed.

You are calling muslims wicked,since year 2002 up to 2010 january government of plateau state and their fellow christians youth are killings innocent muslims and their families and even throwings muslims in various water wells in jan 2010 at kuru karama,in all those years you kept silent, bcos the victims are not humans,later in 2010 retaliatory action followed by muslims as they attacked village of dogo nahawa,rastsat,riyom and zot.to a great surprised at that time even pope rome palace had warned nigerian government to take an action against muslims, but in those years they kept silent watching that mussie stupid govn diare accomplishing their long awaited agenda. My God, you can't just lay the blame on the Muslims or the Muslim soldiers, that is not fair at all. I want to believe that by this type of your sense of judgement you are part of the crisis in Jos. Please we are looking for a way out and not blaming parties.
