The problem is that Zorn doesn't know how to call plays. He didn't call plays as a quarterback, he didn't call plays as a quarterback coach. This lack of experience would have made him a bad choice as an offensive coordinator. He simply has no ability as a tactician, even though he is a great teacher for quarterbacks. He is here to save Jason Campbell, and we forgot that the game also involves being able to out think the opponent. Thank you Redskins management, mostly Dan and Vinnie.

I don't think it is a matter of intelligence or planning. Personally I think it has to do with the flat play in the first half under the Zorn command. All last year the skins had sluggish starts and have to come back second half and play ball. If they would play complete games one of the best rosters in the NFL would probably calculate to more wins on the field. ZORN GET EM FIRED UP IN THE FIRST HALF AND LET IT CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE GAME. lET JASON TAKE SOME SHOTS DOWNFIELD... WE HAVE A TOUGH DEFENSE.

Campbell is ranked 11th in the league in number of completions for 20 plus yards. This team moves the ball in between the 20s and it does it well. It's the redzone offense that doesn't punch it in the endzone, and that all starts with the offesive line. Seriously, has no one noticed that Portis has ZERO TOUCHDOWNS 3 WEEKS IN?!
BTW don't be too confident about the D. Our back 7 is not what it used to be and that's gonna show this season.

this guy is ridiculous. fire him and lets get Shannhan to the skins. That guy will rock the team get them back into shape and make the players better than ever. keep in mind the redskins have probably the most athletic team in the nfl. players like campbell, moss, randel el, portis, etc. not to mention there defense has potential as well. my opinion, lets get rid of of zorn, the guy is a good guy but not for football. Even though his team will disagree, he doesnt have the motivation. I mean seriously how would you go for it on a 4 down and let your rb throw the ball? the team is paying enough for the qb to do his job so lets keep it that way. i dont care how many times zorn says he executed the play during practice. there is a difference between practice and game time. the motivation and mentality right now of the redskins is not in the zone. redskins need a coach that will lead the team and make new leaders form. If this happens, redskins can be the sickest team in the nfl.
