So you used the name Redskins for years, without hesitation, but now you just can't bring yourself to do so because a few people have objected to the name?
Redskins is the name of a football team that honors the bravery and strength of the American Indian. It is not derogatory. Why would any team want to be called something that is derogatory? And no, it is not like the N-word. Redskin was a term used by early American Indians to differentiate themselves from the settlers. The Redskins team name is used on many Native American reservations. Apparently they find the name not to be derogatory. Stop being such a leftist PC tool. The overwhelming majority of Native Americans do not object to name. To the contrary, the Redskins are the most popular NFL team within that community. Your hypocrisy is stunning but your ploy for attention is even more glaring.
