Marc Bulger Might Be the Man the Vikings Are Looking For

Mar 9, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: NFL GridIron Gab

Here's how I see it. The Minnesota Vikings need to win now. Fans did not deserve to be subjected to the sick, angry, numb, disappointment, shock and horror of the broken-hearted 2010 season.

Could Bulger run the show, is he qualified? Yes. Does he want to come to MN and get the crap beat out of him like Farve? NO!! Who has better WRs, MN (no Rice) or Ariz (Fitzgerald)? I'd say he goes to Arizona.

If these places keep putting all these articles on the Vikings Forum about possible starting QBs for the team, they'll eventually go through every QB out there. lol.

Bulger stinks and is a turnover magnet on the par of Brett Favre. This is a joke!

Plus, not saying this to put him down but he seems injury prone. Also something to think about.

Marc Bulger would be a perfect fit. Wasn't he the Strawman? If he only had a brain......

He'd be a solid choice for a stop-gap.

His stats are at least as good as Kolb but he isn't much of a runner...a must with our O/L. He's too smart for that, goes to Arizona where he at least has some WR's to throw to. I'd sure consider him, as you said, for stop-gap or back-up.

Arizona certainly makes sense for him. I guess my point is he would be good for us because we wouldn't have to trade for him & could still draft a QB & have Webb & see who wins the job, fully expecting the veteran Bulger to win it. I've seen a lot of speculation Arizona goes McNabb. Do you think the Redskins release him at some point if they can't work out a trade or do you see them holding him until the first game as his contract allows.

So true....lol.

I like Carson..........but then again, like you said every QB is a chance.

I still think this CBA will get done before SEPT.

However the 18 will be a part of the 2012 season.

Both Carson and Bulger have the same problem. Father time working against them. How much is left in the tank for both players is a large question.

I would like the CBA to be finished by May at the latest. Remember If it takes them until Sept. to get a deal done, we lose all the pre-season and OTAs. Putting a team together (as well as a coaching staff) will become harder for the Vikings than many of our competitors.

18 game season? XM radio reported that many of the owners don't even like the idea as well as the players. This could be Goodells (sp?) pipe dream.

Question: Who makes more sense in teaching a rookie QB, a veteran QB (Bulger) or a QB coach (Johnson)? I guess Bulger/McNabb could replace Ramsey on the roster if it's the veteran QB. I think the money should be spent to upgrade the O/L to allow the QB time to make more than 1 read. I think Washington/Shanahan releases McNabb if they can't trade him....when? Good question.

Bulger has 34 interception 27 touchdowns the last 3 years. He is a disappointment waiting to happen. Plus he doesn't fit our offensive scheme.

Brett would never get farted on, he'd be too busy sucking them out before they happened
