Jerry Jones was spotted at a Dallas CVS store last Tuesday buying some rubbers.
The dark glasses he was wearing fooled nobody.

McNabb is through. Period! Yes, there is something out there called the "draft". Despite what others say, Mallet and Newton would be an improvement. Romo was never drafted anyway. He was a free agent, who lucked into his situation.
I know there is something out there called a draft, HOWEVER, neither of the two quaterbacks you listed are NFL ready and it would most likely take at least two years to get them that way, ergo, the statement of you are most likely stuck with Romo for the next two years.

I'm done with Romo. If Garrett wants to keep his job, he will do what he needs to do.

LOL...

Heisman trophy QB winners is overrated.

Here is a nice list of losers who had BSC games and/or undefeated COLLEGE seasons :

2006 Troy Smith Ohio State (Quarterback)
2004 Matt Leinart USC (Quarterback)
2003 Jason White Oklahoma (Quarterback)
2001 Eric Crouch Nebraska (Quarterback)
2000 Chris Weinke Florida State (Quarterback)
1996 Danny Wuerffel Florida (Quarterback)
1993 Charlie Ward Florida State (Quarterback)
1992 Gino Torretta Miami (Quarterback)
1990 Ty Detmer Brigham Young (Quarterback)

You could probably toss in 2002 Carson Palmer Southern California since the Bengals blow goats as well.

Good, you acknowledge Newton won the "Heisman Trophy". Best football player in the nation, duh! I don't think Romo has that distinction does lmao think so?

I realize not all Heisman winners are guaranteed success in the NFL. My point is that a Heisman Trophy winner at least enters the NFL with the distinction that he was voted by sports writers, coaches, etc., the best football player in the nation. Many fail, but I would rank them higher than a qb never drafted like Romo. Many of them landed with teams at the bottom of the barrel, which includes teams like Cleveland and Cinncinati. Just wait until Romo's contract runs out and see if he is still the qb of the most high profile NFL franchise in the league. Where is Staubach when we need him?

If you were the great Cowboy historian that you seem to think you are, you have forgotten one Cowboy starting quaterback.

You are quite funny and somewhat illinformed. The Heisman Trophy is for the best "College" football player of that year, not the best potential NFL player, ergo, none of them can be considered a bust. The only thing that can be said is that they did not become great NFL players. Please, attempt to understand the reason for the Heisman Trophy. You attempt to equate the Heisman as the Junior Varsity NFL MVP, and it is not.
