Minnesota Vikings get two prime-time games

Full story: TwinCities.com

The Minnesota Vikings will open on the road at San Diego, will get two prime-time games and will play six of their last seven games indoors - assuming, of course, the Metrodome remains playable next season, unlike the end of last season.

*Week 5 = Cardinals easy win 4-1or 3-2
*Week 6 = at Bears always struggle against 'em lose in chicago 4-2 or 3-3
*Week 7 = fudgies Vikes d is top notch lb's great secondary terrible, look if it gets to oh hey driver go for the endzone then yeah lose (btw this depends on griffin and cook) so close game 5-2, 4-3, 3-4
*Week 8 = panthers vikes will slaughter 'em 6-2, 5-3, 4-4
*Week 9 BYE
*Week 10 at fudge pack (they'll split the 2games) 7-2, 6-3, 5-4, 4-5
*Week 11 raiders won 0 on road last year new coach might lose their best cb etc win 8-2, 7-3, 6-4, 5-5
*Week 12 at Falcons NFC #1 seed last year lose if their healthy 8-3, 7-4, 6-5, 5-6
*Week 13 broncos definite win 9-3, 8-4, 7-5, 6-6
*Week 14 at detroit depends could go either way 10-3, 9-4, 8-5, 7-6, 6-7
*Week 15 Saints if the viking are winning they should win here but if not 11-3, 10-4, 9-5, 8-6, 7-7, 6-8
*Weeks 16 redskins win 11-4, 10-5, 9-6, 8-7, 7-8
*Week 17 bears at home if playoff hopes are alive win 12-4, 11-5, 10-6, 9-7, 8-8, 7-9
most likely though with the leagues 12th hardest schedule they'll finish 10-6 to 7-9
---next year is a rebuilding year so what can you really expect, that and a new coach and new offensive coordinator really hurts with the lockout and the first 3 weeks for the entire NFL will be akward so it will be a strange start to the season
5 wins, thats it. Bears, Lions on the rise, Packers cannot be slammed again.......AFC West opponents, the Saints again.....

2011 and 2012 for the Vikings are going to be, for the fans, about the same as waiting out this idiot in the White House.

They'll just have to hold their nose and wait it out.

Oh, we'll just wait. We always do. In fact, we just CAN'T WAIT. New this, new that ... same OLD stadium, same old Vikings and same old results ....... losers.
Is that what you called them 2 seasons ago, when the Vikes swept the Packers? Oh yeah, how conveniently you forget about that. Once again, that's the past, just like last years games are the past. First time the Packers did anything since '95 does not make them the greatest team ever, I see the result of the Packers season being like what happened to the Saints last year in their attempt to repeat. But leave it again to a Packer fan to resort to name calling in their rebuttal.

I see it hasn't been warm enough to be out there planting corn yet. Still laying low and smoking in the back of the maintenance shed? Just what are you smoking? 7-9 is your worst case scenario? How about 4-12? There will be way too many new parts that simply won't come together .... for years.

The only person using the "greatest team ever" tag is YOU. Just like Viking fans did when they first got Favre. Heh .. heh .... and where did that get you?

Oh my gosh, you swept the Pack two years ago! Wow! Funny how the Vikings fans suddenly have memory loss once you go beyond two years back. Of course, I'd have amnesia too if I tried to remember thirty years of pimple-generating frustration. No past, no present, no future and no prospects for the Vikings .... but then you did take those games from the Pack two years ago. Gosh.

Actually I do remember the games prior to 2 years ago, and actually the overall series between the 2 teams is pretty much even. How do you believe there will be no future or prospects for the Vikes? You don't, the only uncertain thing about the team is whether or not they will get a new stadium. The NFL won't let the Vikes move, as they bring in too much money with the rivals they have in green bay and chigago. There are a handful of other teams that are in worse condition than the Vikes, such the buffalo and jacksonville. If there is a season this year, we'll see what happens. The good thing for my team is the brainless Childress is gone and the whole stupid TJack experiment is also gone. Will the Pack repeat, probably not, still don't have a running game and their defense is still a little suspect.

Have some hope! The Queens could have a perfect season (0-16)

There's no way that will happen, the worst they would do is 2-14, with 1 victory against the Bears and the other against the Pack.

Looks like an easy schedule; too bad the team is in rebuild mode! 6-10 looks realistic.
Maybe if they cancel the season we won't have to watch this sorry team!
