Minnesota Vikings get two prime-time games

Full story: TwinCities.com

The Minnesota Vikings will open on the road at San Diego, will get two prime-time games and will play six of their last seven games indoors - assuming, of course, the Metrodome remains playable next season, unlike the end of last season.

Looks like an easy schedule; too bad the team is in rebuild mode! 6-10 looks realistic.

With their crappy record last year and no idea who the QB is going to be, I'm surprised they even got 2 prime time games.

The only good news with this schedule is the bye week. I am looking forward to that.

Hopefully they will be in Los Angeles by then and not be any further embarrassment to Minnesota. Good riddance!

A lot of people are struggling to put food on the table.
Meanwhile, these JERKS(Players and Owners) fight over millions...
They are greedy, ungreatful, and out of touch with REALITY..

..........Wrong!!!! It's trolls like you, who make asinine comments, that Viking fans are embarrassed of. Fortunately, all teams have to put up with this or it would seem only the Vikings have moronic fans. Hopefully you are the one we get rid of!!!!!

As long as DeMaurice Smith is the head of the NFLPA, you can bet on some of the schedule being lost this season.

Smith is gearing up for a run for political office, and is using this post as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. He needs some clout to bolster his position, and the only way to get that is to refrain from serious negotiations until after the season is supposed to start.

When the players start griping about missing their paychecks come September, then Smith will strike a deal with the owners and claim victory. He'll try to paint his cave-in to the owners as him having brought them to their financial knees. The truth will be exactly the opposite; it will be the players who finally insist that he get serious about negotiations.

Whenever Smith settles, it will be a cave-in to the owners. However, caving in, and allowing the entire schedule to be played on time will not allow him to claim victory.

Vikings... Vikings? What sport do they play? Curling? T-ball? Boot hockey? Surely you wouldn't call them a football team. Would you?

Another last place finish for sure. At least TJ and Chilly are gone-things can only get better? Not with this doomed franchise.

Ha. It's great to see all the optimistic Queens fans posting here (snicker). It must be sad to think your team is already done and it's only April. Of course 1 of your primetime games is against the Pack. Just think on Nov 14, that will be 2 games in 3 weeks that you'll be playing THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPS baby! Go Pack, back to back!

How 'bout you move to LA and we would not have to read your pathetic comments ever again. No SB, true. But far from a pathetic team. The Vikes have been to the playoffs more times than any other (since the merger)except for Dallas.

..........Inevitably, you will be the one who has to keep dreaming. The stadium will get built so that people, like you, can continue to put food on your table. With tax dollars the Vikes pay, job creation to build it and job security for people to keep the jobs they already have due to the Vikings contributions to the local econnomy. Like hotels, restaurants, bars etc., etc. Even the schools get a lot of their tax dollars from the state's professional teams. Geez... get a clue!!!!!!!!
