d allen feels comfortable enough to keep him. i never cared for him either. when you hear him talk, he sounds slow in the brain. mckenzie say's he's not going to get another (-lineman) just because "unquote". and rookie menelik watson is barely crippin' his way back to the practice field. veldheer is injured and is in his last year of his contract. we are struggling with linemen all over the team. so, alex barron is the answer for now. the bright side about cutting down to the 53 man roster is, that wherever mckenzie saves money for cutting down the roster is, he sohuld invest to try to fix this (O_line)!

Spoken by the GM who picked him, and likely lost his job because of him, he either has a very valid point, or no credibility at all for picking Barron in the first place.

i agree 100%. my question now is, how will we utilize him. he was suposedly picked up to be a (rt). he came in as an emergency to play (lt). and the real point is, can he turn out to be a good player for us. can he be trained to be better than he was by our trainers. it is a possibility. but it's mainly up to him. vs saints, it wasn't his position to play. but if you watch the game, he was responsible for the sack a false start and a few hurries. but over all he held up decently. right now, hell yeah i'd still put him in there again. about his past? some coaches or gm's hold grudges and that's why players get traded off. look at marcus allen, jim plunkette and everywhere in the nfl. i just hope he works out for the RAIDERS. if he doesn't? well then he may have just been a good band-aid!
