Closing of Chrysler plant leaves huge void for officials and workers to fill.

Full story: www.stltoday.com

With little hope that 50 years of car- and truck-making in Fenton will ever be revived, state and local officials Friday began to shift their focus away from saving the twin Chrysler plants.

To little to late, as a former 136 I ( who where there last year that this time know this was coming. Where was Washington???? Where was Jefferson City???? They wait till the last min. and think they can save the day and get some good P.R. for trying. Well it won't work, not this time. Who knows there might be life at Chrysler St.Louis down the road but not anytime soon.

There is word on the street that Mazda is looking at Fenton, Mo. for an engine plant. That will at least fill some of the void.

Seriously doubt it. They want to raze the buildings, clean up the property and redevelop it. Pretty much what Ford did in Hazelwood, MO.

Funny how they want to raze the buildings.
Last year I delivered construction material to Chrysler Fenton. To Conti Electric, Sachs, Murphy, etc. I also delivered to Ford in Hazelwood when they were doing construction improvements to a building that was soon to be razed.

How many millions of dollars worth of loans did Chrysler (or Ford) obtain to do all this work knowing fully well that the plant was going to close and be razed and that they were going bankrupt.

The "news" blames homeowners for biting off more than they could chew, or blaming Obama the communist/socialist whatever for bankrupting us....and yet mysteriously enough no-one ever talks about Chrysler, Ford and GM financing all these "makeovers" to buildings that were going to be razed when they were going bankrupt and they knew it.

Why do Americans like to be fuhhhked so hard and so deep all the time by corporations??

What the fuhhhk is wrong with you people??

Are you ever going to GET UP and STAND UP and fight this corrupt system or are you going to stay bent over for the rest of your life, smiling and enjoying your "pounding"??

If you were there last year then you know all about the millions they just borrowed to rebuild a plant that was going to be shut.

Those scumbags never should have been bailed out...they should have been executed.
Not for running the company into the ground, but for borrowing millions of dollars to spend on a plant that was closing...and then having American taxpayers bail them out.

Who the fuhhk bailed US out? Nobody. Not even with OUR OWN MONEY can we get bailed out.

It's OUR money and Chrysler and the others got it.

And you can bet that Chrysler scammed hundreds of thousands off those loans that was borrowed to rebuild a plant that slated to be closed.

I ask again America, When will you ever get tired of getting fuhhhked mercilessly by corporations?

What is it in your chemical make-up that makes you enjoy getting your azz penetrated by corporations?

You're all real tough when it comes to shooting a Deer in the head and then bragging all damn day about it...but are you really tough?

Hell no. You ain't sh!t.

You ain't nothing but cowards.

That's why corporations rob you mercilessly of your money...of your jobs...of your childrens future.

They (corporations) rob you because you're worthless and weak.
They know this fully well about you...and that's why you ain't nothing but easy prey. The easiest on the planet.

You are talking mostly to present or former Chrysler employees. We are taking buyouts and early retirements. Sounds like you are the one who got fuhhhked.
