Russell Wilson, Seattle's quarterback, dropped back at the twenty-six-yard line, then kept dropping back, curled around, and finally released the ball from the thirty-nine. This was not the longest of Hail Marys, but considering this would be the game's last play, and the Seahawks ... (more)

Goodell is good at that. Unlike a political party, there really is nobody that actively challenges him though, except those of us that have caught on to his profit motivated lies and deceit.

I agree. In the end I bet the competetion would make for a better and cheaper product, but the politicians don't have as much faith in capitalism as I do.

It is just a game, the ref missed a penalty which would have changed the outcome of the game. Could have happened to either side people are still going to watch the games not big deal. It is the economy and the debt that is a big deal.

We should play poker some time. I've always cleaned up playing against people that don't think the rules are important because "it is just a game"! In fact, I'll put up money playing any game if you promise to keep the attitude that the rules don't matter.

BTW your point that it could have happened to either side is well taken. And it just may happen to either side in any of the games next week or the week after that or any of the weeks after that. If the vast majority of people are okay with the game rules being enforced by people unqualified to enforce them, the rest of us can't do much to stop it.

It is just a game, men getting paid millions in some cases to play a child's game. The ref s were stupid for letting themselves get locked out in this economy if you lucky enough to have a job in this economy and get yourself locked out you don't deserve one. I hope the replacement referees become permanent, they will get better with time and I only watch the game for entertainment I will be sad if my team looses a game over a bad call but I will get over it.

You would never clean up on me in poker because I am not that good at it so I don't play.

I see. You're one of those tards don't care about the rules because of a whacko political slant.

BTW I'm over the bad call. I have faith that my team can overcome one screwed up game result. However, I'm not in favor of the NFL maintaining a situation that creates many, many bad calls every game. I also enjoy the game for it's entertainment value. The problem is that it becomes much less entertaining when the rules are not enforced consistently or competently. You obviously aren't much of an NFL fan. I am. I've watched many games this season and preseason. I've yet to see one game that was competently officiated.
