This is getting ridiculous! Chop block???? what???? tripping??? not even close!
The game against the vikings-- the refs gave minnesota 65 yards in "iffy" penalties on one viking drive-which cost us the game! When is this going to stop? Not to mention how diss-heartning to the 9ers after working hard during the plays. Must be some kind of long board grudge????

I'm the biggest 49er fan out here but the chop block penalty was was legit.

frank did bounce off his teammate and trip, the opposing player was moving and not stationary, if they called that same call they it went down the whole NFL would be on their own 5 yard line, what about that viking drive? The ref should have given the vikings fisherman wharf!

I dont think player movement is relevant to the chop block penalty.Frank cut blocked him while, I think it was Boone, was engaged with him which makes it illegal. It looked a lot more legit of a chop block call than the one gore got called on last season against the ravens. The tripping call on walker was bogus though.
The Vikings game was very penalty ridden. There was one pass interference call on Culliver I think was the worst. The hit goldson got called on was a by rule a good call, not that I agree with the rule. I can't remember any other ones off the top of my head but I remember being mad with the calls.

well , I guess your right, I'll give anyone respect, even Coach Harbaugh's flag throws. It did seem like the refs were picking on us. Crabtree is getting extra yards after the catch, 9ers got FOUR receivers that can get "extra yards" after the catch, looks like the 9ers are going to the playoffs!!

Hell yeah this is the type of year we have all been waiting for out of crabtree!!! Manningham has been huge for us also. Vernon is, well Vernon like always. And Kyle Williams is redeeming himself. Randy is just chilling untill we need him lol. Our offense is based on the ability to get YAK's so I'm glad they are showing up. I'm impressed with Smith but not surprised. He's picking up where he left off but doing even better because of another year in the same offense for the first time in his career. Not to mention his new manningham and the success of the run game.

Alex smith hasn't used his "pump fake" in the giants game he needs to at 2 with their secondary!!

that was a great well coached team the 9ers played - not like the minnesota game the giants played really well, they got a great secondary.

Yeah giants just flat out played the 49ers in every aspect of the game. I think the 9ers can beat them just not today.

if alex smith starts cying? he is coming down off pain meds, i wish they would not give pain meds to quarterbacks, I guess he got upset about colin coming in and tried to "out scramble" him and got hurt?? We need a rushing quarterback in the 20 yard to goal area, that would not hurt but it messes up the flow and sync of the offense

Yeah he does not like getting called out of the game. I don't think any qb does. After the last int I was calling for Kap. AND what the hell is up with Akers?!?!?

the double quarter back move has never worked, might of worked in crucial tough 4th down and goal in close games but to alternate is a bad move in my opinion and hurts the team , the NY giants defensive trap block - spin move rush was pretty good, Alex smith did not have much time to throw, he did okay , its hard to steady yourself with a rush in your face, it would be hard to stop, but our defensive line could use that move and brooks and aldon would create havoc on the field. Akers has the " cat doo in the garden" fecal contamination in his food?? pretty common this time of year!!

1 tablespoon of clove powder(real) in a bowl of hot cereal works for food fecal contamination , removes all sinus and lung congestion.

i'm watching the giants steelers game and NY used that same defensive rush trap block move -- they push the offensive line in together and do a double spin on the ends or a side shift, so the offensive line only has as a "one arm" block ability--which will not hold a safety let a alone a defensive back, with brooks and aldon on the ends with that unstoppable move the 9ers could get some defensive points.

the ny giants got another trap block move rush up the middle defensive play that's pretty cool, they got good coaches.
