This is going to be a knock down drag out fight! Who would have thought the Ravens would be fighting for the division on December 14th? GO RAVENS!

I believe that we have a slight advantage as Cam is clearly the sharper of the two coordinators.

Still, it all comes down to execution. Both offense must protect the football. This is what December football is all about, Ravens fans. One of the biggest regular season games we have ever seen. We must protect this house!

Cam Cameron had a funny smirk on his face in an interview on MASN when asked if he had any special packages for the Steeler's that have not been used this year. he never quite answered the question, but you could tell he's got some new twist to the Sugg's package whipped up.

What wrote: I believe that we have a slight advantage as Cam is clearly the sharper of the two coordinators. This isn't really a battle between O-coordinators; the more important question is whether Cameron can out-wit Dick LeBeau. On balance the Steelers should win this game. The defenses are even and Roethlisberger is the more experienced QB. But Ben - partially due to a very ordinary O-line - has a penchant for bad interceptions. I give a slight edge to the Ravens at home. Hope it's a good game; it should be!

stew wrote: <quoted text>trick plays against disciplined defenses equals failure, steelers are not the bengals That's a misconception. There are trick plays and then there are plays that are part of the offensive scheme. The package is part of the offensive scheme that is practiced every week. The Redskins defensive coordinator after the game last week said on MASN that he had a hard time preparing for the Raven's game because of thier offense runs so many different schemes, that most NFL offenses don't regularly utilize. And def. coord. will tell you that there are only so many hours in a week to practice and the more complicated the offense that you are facing is the less reps you have against any given scenario. Most Steeler fans on here will complain that their offense coordinator lacks creativity. I have yet to see a Steelers fan on here that likes Arians.

Though they would both be 10-4 if the Ravens win, the Steelers own the tie breaker based on a better conference record. If both teams ended 12-4, the Steelers would win the division.

That's right baby! Joe "I should go ahead and let my uni-brow complete itself" Flacco has a lot of tape out on him now, so get ready!
Run your little trick plays that get you a first down or two, but they will not win you the game. Steelers defense is playing absolutely lights out, and this week should be no different.
Enjoy the game all!

This will be as exciting a game as there have been alleason. The Steelers wont give an inch and niether will the Ravens. THe team that doesnt make the big mistake will win. I think that Baltimores Running Game with Neal & McClain will be more physical then Pittsburgh. I do give the Passing Game edge to the Steelers, but not by that much. If the O-line can protect Flacco he has shown an ability to make plays down field. Should be an exciting matchup.
Defensively I think the Ravens will be able to stop the Steelers run game. The Ravens will be able to run just enough to make the Steelers respect the run game. The Ravens have to pressure Rothlisberger and when they get to him the have to make the tackle. If the Ravens allow Benn to break the pocket he has the ability to hurt the Ravens. The Ravens have to put Flacco in good position all game. If the Steelers get out early and force the Ravens to abandon the run then it could be a long night at the big ATM.
The will be a brutal game. you may have 2 or 3 people taking to the emergency room you may even have one guy Medivaced to shock trauma. If you like seeing guys get the snot bubbles knocked out of them then watch this game, if not then please watch something else

They ought to stop worrying about how to "trick" our D and start worrying about ways to keep Flacco off his back and holding onto the ball because James "unleash the beast" Harrison is on fire lately with FF in 3 straight and another against Bmore last time that went back for a TD.
