Honestly I thought we'd be better. Pretty much all the Raider surprises were bad in my eyes

Good surprise for me was Palmer was better than I thought he would be. Plus Streater showed signs of being our #1 WR and Reece played awesome. Plus Myers was a beast at TE. We did have some good.

this is what i was expecting from my RAIDERS! OR or at least match another 8-8 losing season would have done justice! we can blame it all on g knapp but in reality? it was most of the RAIDERS. starting from top to bottom. it's not fair for those players or coaches who tried hard. i give credit to d allen and jason tarver for getting their job back! i give lot's of credit to carson palmer for holding up the (O). and i give credit to p wheeler and jason tarver for their hard work on the last few games. and credit to a few players here and there. sorry, but, no credit to seymour or dmac. biggest RAIDER star disappointments to me of 2012!
i hope for a better season IN 2013. at least another disappointing 8-8 season will do but better yet? playoffs will make me a believer!

I watched him light it up at Wisconsin, but a huge surprise this year has to be 3rd round pick, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks....And actually, this weekend's best game, might very well be Seahawks vs. Redskins.....

RM I see your point however, having the season McFadden had in a different scheme last year and Knapp changing it with no succes and not trying to build an offense around his skills is a Huge reason we ended how we did. Granted defense struggled a few games, but Tarver adapted and the d got better. Knapp didn't. In some ways the blame should fall on the hiring of knapp not knapp.. Knapp did what knapp does, so really he did what we hired for ..his failing system. That o scheme fails and he doesn't change it...it's sends a clear message to the players and has a ripple effect. One bad part CAN bring a machine down. I just hope we get a o coordinator that can adapt to our strengths versus force a scheme no matter what.

i really hope we do get "any" o-coord. that does better than knapp. i do understand that knapp was the "main" person to blame. it's funny how knapp was the main to blame and he had the (O) ranked 12th at one point 13th, 14, and ended 18th overall but that was probably cause palmer injured towards the end. another thing, you were mentioning how j tarver improved, and improved he did. he went from 30th overall, to 29th, to 28th and ended 18th overall on (D). i guess i don't mind tarver or dislike him as much as gregg knapp. but it does not change my mind of wanting at least another 8-8 losing season or playoffs (lol). think we're going to get set back with a new scheme of a new (O-coordinator)?
