Besides the game changing talent & skills, what sets Troy apart from most NFL players is his character. You'll occasionally see a bump with a teammate after a great play, but not the hot dogging of a Ray Lewis or Terrel Suggs. Can anyone imagine Troy talking about knocking someone's teeth out or trying to break their nose?? There is not a better role model in sports right now. He makes me proud to be a member of Steeler Nation. Go Troy!! Go Steelers!!

"It's just uncomfortable winning anything like this," Polamalu said. "Football is such a perfect team sport, it's hard to make anybody, especially our team and the way we play on defense, a most valuable player. I've never been a fan. If I was ever a coach, I probably wouldn't ever have an award like this."

Well spoken comment from an elite player in the NFL and Steeler team. That is why Steelers are the team that they are. Steelers players try to keep TEAM first priority and not allow others to influence them. So many players on other teams have the I instead of TEAM mentality. Which hurts fellow players and their team. It also hurts good coaches keeping their job. Looking forward to the playoffs. GO STEELERS--STEELER NATION EVERYWHERE
