NOw what? Bringing this crap up so as to get the tax payers to add seats to the stadium so the Steelers Incorporated don't have to?

Be careful with this one, they did it before with the stadiums and they'll do it again.

That's the reason but many stadiums have plenty of seats already.

Remember, the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of those much hated and abhorred "out of the city" corporations. Perhaps when this election year is over and the Southside has been turned into a wasteland of failed entertainment venues and police training, the City of Pittsburgh could begin to chase away the Pittsburgh Football Corporation. Why not? Most of the employees live outside of the city, make a lot of money and don't ride the bus or share our pain. They are commuters who use up city services and don't pay their fair share as most commuters don't.

Goodell loves jerking around all the NFL cities to get taxpayers to foot renovation bills and help add to NFL profits.

There's nothing wrong with what he does, the problem is the elected and appointed public officials who actually believe that this entertainment adds to the city. Most of the money involved leaves the city, and the city is left to maintain the infrastructure that supports these sports that make nothing, do nothing, create nothing and cost a lot of money to coddle.

No, there IS something wrong with what he's doing. He's getting local officials riled up over spending taxpayer money on new/renovated stadiums and in many cases the taxpayers do not get to vote on the decision to spend.

Then we have elected the "WRONG" public officials. I would hope they have the same level of common sense that you do and can see through this sham of an industry called, professional sports.

Pittsburgh made a mistake when they built two stadums. One dome covered stadium should have been built, for the Steelers and the Pirates. PNC Park and Heinz Field sit idle for months. What a waste. There would have been so much more you could have done with a dome covered stadium. Probably wouldn't have cost anymore either.
