If the ball is on the 4 yard line and its first and goal and the ball carrier lowers his head at the 1/2 yard line and gets into the endzone and running into the defensive player there will be a 15yd penalty and no touchdown. But to make the game safer the running back will have to lift his head up and get his bell rung by the defense. I am sure the running backs appreciate this stupid rule. How many neck injuries will we see now? Rodger Goodell is an idiot!
