Three things the Steelers need: 1) A new defensive coach. Dick LeBeau is about ready for the personal care home. 2) A few good linebackers. Someone like a Jack Lambert. 3) A good tight end. Someone like a Randy Grossman or a Bennie Cunningham. A good strong safety also would be a good idea.

Bob,
Your response made me laugh. Lambert is to old. Would be kinda funny if he did suit up again. I meant someone as good as he was.

With the NFL rules the way they are today Lambert (as well as Greene, Bleier, White etc.) would be fined and suspended out of the league. The 70's Steelers played real football not "Brady Rule" football.

i know I was just being funny. Lambert is a game warden in armstrong county last i heard. hate to go fishing over there without a license. lol. but i hear ya. i think harrison is afraid of being fined. he used to be a lot meaner. i like the old style of play better.

i totally agree. just get over with and put flags on them. the nfl keeps changing the rules because the steelers play tough football. first mel blount's rule then the hines ward rule, then they fine harrison for legal hits. pathetic.

What about a "Polamalu rule" that prohibits players from leaping over blockers?

i think the pats coach should be penalized for his flabby man-cans. jigglin' bill needs some under-wire support.
