Report: Chiefs on verge of hiring Andy Reid

Adam Shefter and Chris Mortenson both are reporting that Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of a deal to make Reid their new head coach.

guess it's true! reid has cancelled the chargers and cardinals meetings and sources say he will be a cheif! first manning with the broncos, now reid with the cheifs! if i was reid, i would have take the chargers job. but, whatever, bring it! hope this is more of a challenge for us to get better.

well word now is that lovie smith is set to interview with the bills, but the chargers are now showing interest in smith (acc to espn). can you imagine? p manning with the broncos? cause i consider him as a coach. and andy reid with the cheifs and lovie smith with chargers?

if you guys get a chance, check out the TOSTITO'S FIESTA BOWL today between OREGON and kansas today at 8:30 pm est. there you will see what coach chip kelly's (oregon's) coaching style is like and why jon gruden say's he loves and would coach this style of play. i also had felt that this style would have been perfect for mcfadden and terrelle pryor. if we had gone after this coach as a head coach. as of now, chip kelly is rummored to interview with browns, as a top candidate but bills and az have interest in him. check it out.

I'd really hate to see Andy Reid in KC. I figured surely he'd go somewhere better.

It's a safe choice for him,he can only go up. The chiefs were lousy he won't do worse.

oh yea, i forgot kyle long, howie long's son is playing on the (O-line) for the ducks.#74. i saw howie long on t.v on one of those games, i believe it was vs stanford? they were wondering if k long would sign again next season w/oregon. nutn' important. just info.

sounds like andy reid is one hair away from becoming a cheif cheif (lol). and oregon coach chip kelly is very close to locking in with the browns. they don't want him to interview with the bill or arizona. and lovie with the chargers? that would make all the afc west interesting! now all we would have to do is just have to get in the game =|
