i'll tell you what i hate, pryor has been here three yrs? and he got to see one full game and has to wait again till 2013 or the end of 2013 to see action again. but who knows? a number of things could change? this may have put a damper on palmer, also, we may have a new (oc) and or if we do decide to keep g knapp, he may be tempted to start t pryor. either way it goes, coaches may be looking at pryor as youth and future. he may also have taken the thought of drafting a new (qb) in the draft. pryor played one full game showed a lot of mistakes but showed that he may be capable of running the RAIDERS (O). hard to tell with just one game, but if he looked good in preseason and looked good in his first start? hmmmm?

Pryor looked all and all good to me. Obviously he accuracy isn't there yet but he can make something happen out of nothing. I really liked how calm he was throughout and never really seemed overwhelmed by the pace of the game despite it being his first start ever. To me, it's a shame he didn't at the very least start last week.

I'd say rushing for a TD and passing for two is not to bad for his first start. He accounted for about half the rushing yards, but only passed for 150, but I think it's something he can build on.

I didn't get to see the game so I'm curious to read what the rest of y'all think of him.

like we said in the past, he's either good trade bait? or he is future here. they left us with our heads scratching again with t pryor. even the coaches are going to have a hard decision to make. only cause they scewed up not playing him earlier in the past three games.

DENNIS ALLEN "i thought he did some good things. obviously there is still some work to be done there. he obviously provided a little spark and so i think there is something to build on".
what does that say? his light bulb finally turned on!

it's no contest, Palmer is the starter. Unless, Palmer doesn't come back. Then it should be an open comp. If pryor wins it, good for him. If not, it's business. Pryor looked decent and in fairness to him he had a limited playbook and limited time with the starters. That said he is the third string qb. Anyone who thought he deserved more needs a reality check.

Pryor did okay. He did some good things and there are things he needs to improve upon. The plus is that he knew what was going on and he had command of the offense. The minus is his accuracy. It seemed directly related to putting too much air under the ball or not enoug zip on the ball. I would disagree that the WRs had trouble. It was more that they were waiting for the ball and in some instances on the crossing pattern out ran the ball. The ball did not come to them quick enough and it would an area of work for Pryor (throw it with more velocity. The other plus is that Pryor seemed to be able to extend plays a la Big Ben in Pitt (mostly outside the pocket, but sometimes inside the pocket) and it allowed receivers to get (very) uncovered and his lack of zip did not matter. The first TD to DHB was a back shoulder throw that took a long time to get there. So much, that even DHB had time to adjust (lol). The second was to Moore that Pryor bought time and Weddle loss track of Moore in the end zone and was wide open. Bottom line, Pryor played his way into the back-up role behind Palmer. He is not a starter, but the Raiders may be in a position to sign another prospect vs. going with a vet like Linert.

Pryor will continue to be a work in progress, but I sure enjoyed watching him play yesterday. Will be a solid #2 next season, and continue to learn behind Palmer which is a very good scenario. Now that Knapp is gone, maybe they'll even have a running game again to lean on. Chargers had 11 sacks the week before, and barely got a hand on Pryor. Extremely elusive/athletic and wants to learn.

I didn't think he was too bad but still has lots of room to improve

I watched the full game and I agree that he did float a lot of passes. he didn't get a lot of help from the wr's because they were dropping a bunch of passes. But Pryor did show that he can be the future qb of the raiders. During the game he was in control of the offense and he was a leader out there. He has lots of things he can work on like putting some zip on the ball and his accuracy, but he really didn't make any bad decisions throwing the ball, He did a great job of scrambling to throw the ball and he ran when he didn't see anywhere to throw. Overall I would say he had a great game for a guy who had no work all season long and only got half the reps the week leading up to the game.

i think dennis allen liked terrelle pryor, and didn't know what he had. everyone was trying to tell him but did he listen? NO! finally, the last game opened up his eyes and the light-bulb turned on in his head.(thanks to g knapp). clearly carson palmer is the starter! but by chance that the RAIDERS wanted to trade or deal palmer? just by chance?(lol), they can prep terrelle pryor to be a starter and continue forward with him for the future. will they start pryor? mmmn i doubt it?. but it certainly would be interesting and not a big mistake. i favor carson palmer still.

I think Pryor has moved up to #2 and will play another year under Palmer unless things don't go right next year and Allen needs somewhere to look for a change.
