RF...what you just bought sounds awesome. I'm taking the money I would have sopent on the bar during the upcoming season and sinking it into a bar in the man-cave. I too have the ticket but get burned out watching the Bears unless of course Cuntler goes into his pouting mode, then its funny. I'm going to the Raider game in Denver this year. Should be a good game

I don't get scared when Carson drops back. I get scared when the balls in the air because some of our recievers don't run the right route. the reason I said some of Raider Nation are haters isn't from there displeasure with how Carson is playing, because you have the right to be displeased. they're going out there way to talk s*** like we have a better option, or if Carson isn't an upgrade over Jason Campbell. I was scared when he dropped back, not Carson. I don't know if we all were watching the same games, but the man looks pretty sharp to me. carson's interceptions weren't the reason we lost 4 out of 5 games last year 2 in the season. when the season was on the line Carson played lights out. I just hate hearing people that don't know the game of football talking s***. that man is the best quarterback we had since Rich Gannon. we haven't even been running a lot of play action for people to start judging if he suits the system or not. why would we show our hand to our division. as of right now they don't know what to expect from us. look if your part of Raider Nation more power to you, but if all you have is nonsense to talk. do me and everyone else a favor and shut the f*** up. raider Nation2012
I agree and would rather have Palmer than Campbell, on paper. Having said that, Palmer could learn from Campbell. Campbell was adept at knowing the football situation. Examples? On second and short, Campbell would not through a risky pass knowing he can run for the first down on the next play. Campell would just throw it over the receiver and defender just to make sure he did not get the intentional grounding call. Palmer never does that. Palmer always wants to give the receiver a chance to make the play to a fault. He throws it anyway and will have it picked-off. On third and long deep in your side, Campbell would not throw a risky pass to give the other team great field position and a guarnteed score. Not Palmer, he is going throw the ball to make the first down, and more times than not, give the other team an easy three (why not use Lechler's talents). One would think this would be easily correctable for Palmer or he should have learned this a long time ago. Instead, Palmer is acting like an old dog who can not learn new tricks. If that is case, then the Raiders are in trouble. If Palmer can do it, they will win or at least be in a lot more games this year. I am hoping he can do it.

my problem with campbell, freddy, other than his injuries was that there was plays campbell could have made! then when he ran out the sidelines, lay down and or throw the ball away, it was like loss of downs that pissed me off about him. i play to win, and i like what palmer does to gain yds. yea he's thrown int's and is subject to throwing int's, but when it works out and he gets those first downs? IT'S ALLLL GOOD! i like the risks sometimes because he is an experienced (qb). i like the risks that he takes because he wants to wo win. and thats something the RAIDER nation wants. wins! his int's are sometimes stupid but rarely stupid.(wr's) have made that many more mistakes than the passing mistakes from palmer. once these (wr's) know their routes and timing and good hands control, we're on the righ path. look, not all (qb's) are mannings and brady's but even they throw int's., but they are great (qb's). palmer? he's just a good decent above average (qb), and we have him! i'm content with him as our starter and i don't know anyone i would trde for him except for you know? the mannings and the brady's and brees'es and ?. lets look at him this season as a full time RAIDER and then we can judge him. last season does not count!

Palmer will always drive us crazy with his share of picks, because just as Favre, they believe with their ability that they can (and often will), fit the ball into windows that most Q.B.'s wouldn't even attempt. Having said that, I would much rather have Palmer at the helm than Campbell, as their skill-sets aren't even comparable. With a full year/training camp under his belt, and McFadden on the field with him for the first time, Palmer will put up some big numbers with this offence this year.

you and I see eye to eye captain Canada. it seems like years of having sorry teams made raider Nation delusional. instead of supporting our team every body is finding reasons to say that we can't do it. when the first time in a long time it feels like our team is well rounded out on all phases and facets of the game. is Carson Palmer Tom Brady? no , but there's no doubt in my mind that man is elite. and ask I say all the time watch all these Carson Palmer haters be all on him when he performs the so called impossible.

I'm not so much a Palmer hater, I'm an OAKLAND RAIDERS fan and I want to win games. I don't care how we win, I just want to win. Stats dont' win game, it's the points on the board and as long as we win, I dont' care how many times we turn the ball over; I don't care how many yards the QB passes for; I don't care who catches the passes; I don't care who's on defense...I care about 1 thing and 1 thing ONLY...JUST WIN BABY!!!!!

lone exception is the New England snow-job in the playoffs

I get tired of so called Raiders fans bashing Carson Palmer. I don't know what games ya'll been watching to insinuate that he doesn't have a firm concept off the new system, but thats all hog wash. Evidently ya'll have no idea or concept of route combinatio so with that said ya'll don't know when & where he is supposed to release the ball. Most if not all his passes have been on point. He's been a victam of dropped passes & receivers not going all out to make catches, yet u all blame him for the Ints. Ya'll gotta be kidding me. All I have to say is when shit kick in in the don't try & climb on board , Wr don't need u
