Packluv1 and ezg/viking nation. One's a born welcher the other a born liar. These two "gentlemen", a term I use loosely, will never let the facts get in way of a good story. Packluv only comes around when the Bears win or the Packers lose. Ezg/viking nation only comes around because he thinks we forgot about him and when it looks like the Vikings are improving. He can't even get his facts straight. Jennings was offered $10m a year ago by the Packers. He didn't signwanting to become a free agent. The market value for receivers is not what Jennings had hoped for. Packers offered $8m to a player who has not completed a full season in the past two. He signs with the Vikings for $9.5/season. Ezg/viking nation why is that so hard for you to understand? Admit you are wrong for a change and carry on. Your past history with us is suspect to say the least so at least come clean about this.

I didn't say you came up with that number out of the blue.

I did say you came up with "OUT OF THE BLUE" saying that 10 million offer was what the Packers were offering Jennings "this year".

That is why I had to scold you like a child, becasue you made something up out of the blue.

See post # 47

Obvisouly it did go off the table! So you were wrong. Can you admit you were wrong to say- and I quote "That offer still would stand today, it didnt go off the table.”?

It would be interesting to hear Viking fans opinions on Jennings as a player if he was still with the Packers. I bet they would not be so rosy :) things like... he is old and lost a step, production has been down past years, always injured, not Rodgers #1 target anymore, ect.

Now imagine a discussion about who is better Harvin or Jennings? Providing Harvin is still a Viking and Jennings is still a Packer. Viking fans would try and bury Jennings in that discussion I would guess.

So is it true the Vikings WR corp is really better and more improved having lost Harvin and added Jennings? Time will tell, but in the “current circumstances” I bet they like Jennings more. Maybe not the case is Harvin stayed in MN....

Why is it so hard for you to understand that was a year ago? As far as us other guys emailing each other to gather together to knock you, ezg/viking nation, or insult you is another figment of your imagination. You give us plenty of BS on your own for us to knock and insult you. If you would ever come here with some factual information maybe this wouldn't happen. But, I think you enjoy the insults because otherwise you wouldn't have anything else to do

If Harvin stayed in Minn. I wonder if they would have signed Jennings?Harvin is getting over 13M per,Jennings is getting 9.5M and teh Vikes are a bit urked that they overpaid slightly ( or paid more hen they wanted) but MN.should be happy.Viking fans arent stupid, they know Harvin is a better WR at this point but Jennings was a must,MY Question is how much will Jennings ( production) fall off with Ponder as qb instead of Rodgers?

Well you are half right, which means you are wrong again.
Why does it matter? Because, you said I was wrong. Because you were running your mouth off like an azz and didn't know what you were talking about. It matters because you cannot admit you were wrong even after being proved wrong you just kept argueing, just like every post you had under ezg.
Yes yours was the first report of the Packers offer of 10 million --- NOW PAY ATTENTION --- but it was from last year, NOT this year like I said!!!
1. You argued it was 10 million and the offer was still on the table this year and he turned it down to sign with the Vikings for less.
2. You argued against my links proving to you that 10 million was last years offer and that it was 8 million offered this year
3. Only now after all the links I gave do you agree with me. The only right thing you have done.
Why do have a hard time admitting you were wrong?
Next time just pay attention to what the articles say and not what you want to hear.

Good point Ponder sure isn't Aaron Last year ponder had a little over 2900 throwing yards & Harvin in the first 4 games of the season was the leading receiver in the NFL with most yards, it was the last half of the season things droped off. I think if Ponder can play a full season like the start of last season Jennings should have a good year. This year will be Ponder's third year he showed improvement last year more then his rookie season & that a good sign of things to come.

Used in an argument to admit that you are wrong without admitting it so the argument is over.

The Vikings can use jennings in the slot or as a wide out & with Wright they can do the same. last year we seen that Wright can also take the ball deep as well as play as a slot receiver. with jenning & wirght moving around from slot to wide out its going to make it hard on defenses & you add in pro bowl MVP TE Rudolph along with one of the top rookies receivers from the draft & the Vikings could have one of the better receiving corps in the NFL.
