Point is, You have been signing the vikings are better speech for a few straight seasons now.You gave us we are a better overall team speech last year as well. We all know what has been happening the past seasons,so we dont need to rehash it all over and over.
You also know Chicago was 11-5 in 2010,,8-3 before they choked the last 5 in 2011 and 7-1 in 12 before they finished 10-6.So looking at that,Chicago has had a better overall then Minn. the past 3 years. Ive given plenty of respect to Minnesota.
HI eric! I think arguing with the BP is now just getting a bit silly. He cannot even control his own crazy logic without creating a double standard or contradicting himself.

On one hand
-- He is angry the Vikings get no respect. He thinks they should because they went from 6-10 to 3-13 to 10-6 and made a wild card last year.

Yet on the other hand he says
-- he doesnít care what the Packers have done the last year, or the last 3 for that matter, because anything can happen any year?

Why would someone want respect for something they deem that do not care about (the past)?

I just donít see how he expects the vikings to get respect for a Ď10-6 wild card seasoní but not give any respect to the Packers who have done much better than that in each of their last 3 seasons, while dominating the NFC North. It is a complete contradiction and entirely foolish on his part.

HI Pmies!!! Hope all is well with you and yours in Finland! Viking fans should see a bit of hope coming up.3 ,4 wins to 10 wins is a good progression.
Thing is Vikes wont get the last place schedule,or surprise anyone now either.
Can we expect AP to gain 2K again? He wants 2,5K yards this year ( his goal),,thats a ton of yards.
If they go 18 games and 2 preseason games and expend the playoffs, that can change a bit.Id like to see how much difference Jennings makes. We all know what he can do,but, again,Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers to Christian Ponder and hes 30 now after a few banged up seasons and hes the main man now,He doesnt have Jordy Nelson,James Jones or Randall Cobb opposite him. He does have Rudolph which is fine, hes a very good TE but when Finley gets his head out of his ass ( usually the final quarter of the year) hes is better then K.R. I get your point. Many of the Viking fans got their own place to chat Viking football and i guess they missed one.I respect Passion and BP has it but fooling ones self isnt helping his cause.

He hopes that the Vikigs will get respect and that the Packers won't because he only sees things as he wishes them to be, not as they are.

yep i agree, he reminds me of me when I was 7 and the Packers were just not good. I was a wishful thinker too when i was young.

But i grew up to be a betting man, and man business is a boomin for betting on the Packers in the NFC North!

The Viking fans see the Vegas odds and know that the entire country believes in the Packers enough to put their money on them. They also see that few people are willing to bet on the Vikings. You know it kills them that the Vikings get no respect.

You two spent all last summer making fun of the Vikings and their 3-13 record. Both of you are on record as saying they may not even make three wins last season. Listening to people who are so woefully wrong ilustrates why you two have to talk to each other. No one else takes you seriously.
Without EZG to run you mouths with, you turn to each other for companionship. I want to hear more about dead horse bay, and another super bowl prediction.

So are you bragging about how incredibly right you have been about the Vikings? Hmmm. I gues that means you predicted the 50+ years of failure. Congratulations! What is your prediction for the next 50 years?

Sorry, I won't be giving you a prediction about the Packers. I am more than satisfied with the GREEN BAY PACKERS record 13 world championships. It might come across as greedy if I were to predict another.

One trick pony lives down to expectations again.
My prediction was a record up to 8 wins for the Vikings, which is a far cry better than your 0-3 wins. I also never go on record during the summer by picking my team as the next Super Bowl winner.
Only a true dolt would do that. You lose again......

You more than satisfied with record 13 world championships? Hell, id love a 14th one, then a 15th one,16th,17th and so on.It may be greedy on my part, but, winning championships is what its all about!:)

Of course I would love more. In fact I fully expect more. The Packers record 13 world championships prove that they have the organization and ability to win many. However, even if the Packers never won another in my lifetime (tomorrow isn't guaranteed to any of us) I would be satisfied. It's not as if the Packers have NEVER been the world champions. You know, like some teams! LOL

I've never made a prediction of a Packer Super Bowl win even when they have, but naturally you are too stupid to have ever noticed. So what else is new?
So tell me about your Viking predictions. In what decade will the Vikings win their first Super Bowl? HOWL!
If I can prove you did predict a Packer Super Bowl last year, will you bow out of Topix for good if I prove it?
This post says you never made a prediction of a Packer Super Bowl win, I can prove different.

I wonder how the Packers will do with a week four bye.Somehow they didnt dodge the bullet this year.Seems like every year they get one in or near the middle even when they win 15 or even when they win the superbowl. But not this year.Of Course the Vikings go 10-6 but get a week 5.

I'll leave Topix for good if the Vikings ever win a Super Bowl. That will make me safe forever! Predictions are meaningless to me. Results are all that matter to me. The results for the Packers so far are an NFL record 13 championships. You can whine and cry all you want. In fact, I enjoy it. So please don't stop.

Comeon now GBPfan.1.Youre counting 13 world championships that are actually league championships that date back to 1929 when their were only twelve teams and four of those were expansion teams.I got to say it had be easier to win a championship with 12 teams than 32 in a 9 game season.2.In 52 years the Vikings have 18 division championships and 27 playoff appearances. In 94 years the Packers have 15 division championships and 28 playoff appearances. The Packers have 4 superbowl victories. It took the Packers 48 years before their first superbowl which was superbowl 1 by the way.By my calculations the Vikings still have 42 years just to match the 4 superbowls the Packers have now.The Vikings are still in the drivers seat and still own the bragging rights.

I'm counting 13 world championships in football. I'm counting all 13 championships that the NFL recognizes as the league record. And thank you for pointing out that the Packers won some of those championships before the NFL's talent was GREATLY watered down with 32 teams! The Packers won some of those championships when most of their third stringers(and third stringers on other teams) would be starters on most teams today.

BTW the Packers have won 7 of those titles since the Vikings were part of the NFL. Even if you stupidly don't recognize championships prior to the Vikings founding, I assume you would recognize those won during the Vikings existence. Or are you one of the imbeciles that choose not to acknowledge that professional football existed before 1967?

And the fact that you can say: "The Vikings are still in the drivers seat and still own the bragging rights" merely shows how foolishly delusional you are.

BTW 1929 was a single season in the NFL's history. It was actually the NFL's tenth season!

You choose not to acknowledge the Vikings dominance in the Division.Vikings Division championships 18.Packers 15.The Vikings still own the division.
