Jason la Canfora is and idiot. This is an extension of bleacher report.Jennings sure looks good in purple in the new Vikings uniforms at Vikings.com .Far better than the homely Packers uniforms.

Jealousy becomes you. I wonder if Jennings looks as good in purple as you look in (envy) green.

The chest beater is back, shouldn't be long before we get our early summer prediction of a gb super bowl trophy in Feb.
The Vikes will be lucky to match their 2011 season win total........Rodgers is the best player.....now Thompson is rated best in the NFC, LOL.
Wrong on all counts, AD is the best player in the league.....Vikings bolt up the standings with 10 wins and a playoff berth.....and gb gets blown out of the water by SF, who shredded the packer D.
I like the chest thumping, an omen of things to come again?

Good to know gbpfan is in panic mode now, at least if he is true to his word.

The quote of the day "If the Packers lose to the 49ers in the playoffs, I'll panic then"

Whack that? Don't give GBF more than he can handle, he'll have a nervous break-down. The cheese on his head is already melting from thinking too hard, trying to find a clever come-back.

'Whack that'? Ok! I will BET you.

I will show you how I truly feel about my team this year and their chances at repeating for the 3RD STRAIGHT YEAR as NFC North Champs. No BS, no chirping, just a straight up BET! Very plain and very simple. If you talk the talk then walk the walk or we all know you are just CHIRPING. We know 40 loves to chirp and not back it up, how about you?

Here is the bet-
If the Vikings win the NFC North I will leave topix forum forever.
If the Packers win the NFC North You will leave topix forum forever.

BET?

WHACK THAT you wishful thinker! Put up or shut up! LMFAO!
I know you don't TRUELY believe your own BS or you would back it up. YOU KNOW the Pack is #1 in the NFC North and you dare not bet against the Pack!

This bet goes for any and all Viking fans who like to chirp chirp chirp about being and winning nothing! LOL!
I'll be waiting to take you seriously.... if you can prove you truely believe your own bs. I can back mine up, can you?

3-13 to 10-6 is your bragging rights over the Packers?
That = in the last 3 years .....

1 Viking wild card (then losing to the Packers in the playoffs)
vs
The Packers 1 wild card, 2 NFC North titles, and an NFL Championship.

I missed your point!

You brag about being complete sh** at 3-13?
Then playing a soft ‘last place’ schedule to 10-6 and getting beat by the Packers again?

So you are bragging to Packer fans about finishing worse and getting beat by the Packers? GREAT WORK numbnutts!

Can you please explain the bragging rights again? I missed how finishing worse and worse than the Packers gives you bragging rights. It actually sounds very very stupid to me.

btw

Any NFC North coach losing to the vikings twice should be fired, I agree. I fully understand the bears losing both games to the Packers... but losing both to the Vikings? YUK! Surely he lost his job for losing out to a crap ass team like the vikes.

But maybe it also had to do with losing to the Packers 6 straight times and not being able to keep up with the 2 time NFC North CHAMPS! or it could be losing to the vikings who beat them to their 'ultimate goal' of a wild card slot.

It just seems the vikings, bears, and lions are all fighting for the left over scraps from all the Packer success in the NFC North...

No the bragging is from coming from 3-13 to 10-6.What you mean soft schedule we play the same teams. We were one game behind you.The Packers finished the same as the year before the Vikings gained in leaps and bounds. We should have had you that first game too. That was the one game in the season where I was calling for Ponders head.Over 200 yards rushing and we lose the game. The Vikings are right on the Packers heels so dont talk down to us.One touchdown the other way and we win.

Ill bet you the Bears only lost to the Vikings once.Com eon lets bet.The reason Lovey got fired was because they didnt make the playoffs which would mean we eliminated them.

You are quickly sinking into the SOS quagmire without your parrot EZG. Bet this, bet that, is Finland really that regressive?
Without 'betting', the Vikings are a team on the way up, packers on the way down, but that's just based off our seasons last year. The 'experts' are saying the Vikes are favored in just 5 games this year, more than they said we were favored in last year. YOU said we would be lucky to win 3 games last year, didn't you?
I like it around here, and I'm not certain Minnesota will win more games than last year, and I'm not certain gb will win more games this year either. Betting does NOT make you a better fan, just a bitter, overzealous fan.
Packerstan, the religion of gb.

Ill say this.26-6 over the past 2 seasons, 36-12 over the past 3 seasons,2 straight division titles,3 playoff appearences and a SB championship.
That said....
Its hard to argue Ted Thompson IS one of the best GMs in the game today.
I cant imagine to many teams over the past few seasons with a better record and as we have all seen..
N.O in 09'
GB in 10
NYG in 11
Baltimore in 12
4 different SB Champs in 4 years...
GB is a team on its way down? Vikings are clearly progressing from a few years ago BUT, Rodgers is the best qb in the league right now and hitting his prime,IM very confident the oline plays much better, a few good pieces coming back on defense and a highly regarded Dlinemen coming in.
Minnesota went from 3 wins to 10 wins ( but they dont sneak up on anyone in 13) I very nice progression and i dont argue A.Peterson is the best player in the game, especially after last year,BUT, is it fair to expect that type of production again? Missing the NFL record for yards by a hand ful is a tough feat.Ponder NEEDS to play better,I dont think you can expect Peterson to play better then last year, its just not fair to him to expect it or demand it

That may be true Eric but is it fair to expect Rodgers to play better than last year.Or to demand it.Peterson is in his prime also.Youre running backs need to play better.Ponder needs to play better.Sounds like pretty equal teams to me not the Packers being better than us.Im confident our recievers and Ponder play better and Peterson gets less runs but longer runs.

Aaron is 8th on this list off of NFL.com , so no, he's not the 'best'. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats...
The best player in the NFL is AD, no one else is even close.

If we just go off of last year, the Vikings picked up 7 more wins, the packers picked up 4 more losses than the previous year. If we trend that out, it's a no brainer that the pack is in decline, and the Vikings are on the rise. Of course this is statistically, and based on last year. All last year's offseason we heard nothing but 'chirping' by our resident gb fans about how bad the Vikings were going to be, and how great the Packers were going to be. gbpfan predicted a Super Bowl Win for gb during the Summer, I mean really? One more regular season win by the 'great' team over the 'horrible' team for the regular season, and a win over the 'horrible' team on the road with a QB who is now a receiver and packer fans gloat over that win?
That is bordering on shameful.
AD could have a 'better' year this year, who knows about that beast.
Rodgers may never play as well as he has, one never knows……………

You have valid points for sure and i can answer some of your question with this..Aaron Rodgers has been up 30-40 TD very low INT and 4K yards or so for a few straight years so its safe to say he can do it,How many times has Adrian Peterson run for 9 yards short of an NFL record or 2K yards? YES, he did it coming off an ACL which makes an incredible feat more incredible for sure and they do play many of the same teams BUT Minn coming off a 3 win season and GB coming off a 15 win season,Minn did get a bit easier time as they should have and NO ONE expected them to play as well as they did ( 10 wins)this year, they sneak up on no one! GB fell back but its a bitch to match a 15 win season dont you think? They followed that up with a 11 win season which is a solid season as well. Last year is last year but GB is the defending champs and should be favored or respected as such until someone knocks them off.
