The Vikes are becoming quite adept at losing NFC Championship games as well. Whether they are clanging field goal attempts off the goal post or throwing game deciding interceptions; they have become the master of disaster

Amazing isnt it.
TT drafted defense in 12 to improve the defense. The Defense went from 31st to 11th. then you consider
Nick Perry 1st round
Jerel Worthy 2nd round
Mike Daniels 4th round
Terrell Manning 5th round
all these guys missed large amounts of time injured,so really the 2012 draft class didnt contribute a whole lot
We got good play from Casey Hayward ( 2nd round) and Jarron McMillian ( 4th round)
Perry injured injured his wrist early and missed most of hte season,Worth did ok but missed alot of time at the end of the season and the playoffs,( had knee surgery from what i read and will be fine)Mike Daniels played well but missed time at the end and playoffs ( concussed i believe) and Manning didn't play a whole lot and got injured as well.
All that said, I wonder how deep TT will go in Defensive players again they can use Oline help as well,ALSO, this screams a FA signing as well,so for the first time in a long time,Ted may actually spend some big money on a FA.I love building through the draft but We can use a FA sprinkled in there at some point. As for pakluv, He lost a bet and welched on it,disappears when the Bears lose and only comes back after the Bears win or the Packers lose,He bragged all year the Bears were in first, shut up real quick when GB passed them and won the division and was very quite for several weeks until GB lost in the playoffs,Hes a troll trying to get under your skin and a balls less coward who only shows up when he wins and cant take it when he loses and welches on bets and the fact he wishes Chicago was as good as GB and the whiner was remotely as good as Rodgers and the fact GB knocked them out of the SB really pisses him off but the fact he cuts on GB when Chicago choked the playoffs away 2 years straight and when they got there GB knocked them out tells alot of the story.
Let's see what happens when these injured players return. I would hope with the upcoming draft that the Packers would focus on the o-line, d-line and running back. TT's m.o. is to usually take the best player available. Just hope he focuses on the positions mentioned above. Losing John Dorsey to the Chiefs may hurt because I think he had a lot of input on draft day. He will do well in KC. The Packers must be doing something right because Dorsey was sought after by several teams in the past. Listen, you and I know the weaknesses of this team. We also know that a lot of our young players didn't get to show much because of injuries. The Packers are still a young team with a few aging vets. I think the braintrust of the Packers will keep building this team to be a viable playoff team for many years. And if you win a Super Bowl that's great and what we all want.

Mc.all but said Capers is his guy and there will be some sort of changes on defense,so what coach or player is gone?
Now,ive read were Jarel Worthy had surgery but if it were an ACL,he could be out a long while.Thing was,the Packers didnt get the contributions from most of the youngsters they drafted last year to improve,YET, they improved for a yearly number fro 32nd to 11th,then hit on another defensive player or 2,Perry coming back,Hayward will only get better and can start next year,McMillian ( How much competition could have possibly have at U.of Maine) and he did ok this year,so hopefully next year he plays real well,Daniels should get better as well then of course there is the draft where ( Like you said,)TT can concentrate on the oline,Dline and RB.DuJuan Harris may have got himself the starting back, his job to lose.I wonder if they will bring back Cedric Benson? Ryan Grant,im not sure, they still have Alex Green and im thinking Starks is gone.Id like to see them replace Kuhn for a bigger more physical FB.
Im going on the fact Dorsey had assistance watching and learning and a replacement is in place.GB organization is finding alot of teams raiding the cupboards here.John Schneider Seattle,,last year Reggie McKenzie GM Oakland,John Dorsey GM KC this year. You are right,Ted usually takes the best player available but i can see Ted actually signing a veteran FA this off season. The Packers do have 7M but want to resign A.Rodgers,BJ Raji and CM long term so that will eat serious money and Shields is restricted and will get a nice raise.
Reading earlier.the secondary coach talking about a 4 man competition between Tramon Williams,Devon House,Casey Hayward and Sam Shields.I can see Shields starting next year, hes the fastest on the team and House had the job until he hurt his shoulder and i think the fact WIlliams just may lose his starting job next year.House is bigger as quick and stronger,Shields is more athletic and Hayward may end up better then either in another season under his belt.AP is a tremendous back for sure! but the fact Tramon Williams basically threw an arm out there and didnt really try to pop him ( Aikman commented he wouldnt want to either,if you remember),but your a corner, you have to pop him to the best of your ability and T.W. didnt.I hurt the shoulder in 11 and played like shit as he couldnt tackle well but he was supposedly healthy last year,so maybe he was gun shy, scared or maybe he just lost that certain something. He played real well during the SB run,11 he played badly with the bad shoulder and last year he did shut down Marshall with some help both games, but, struggled vs Crabtree and a few other bigger WR,so maybe a Shields/House corner combo would be cool ( if they dont draft a corner) Hayward i think will be a very good corner as well and can start next year but def. be a starter in 14 if Shields gets a ton of cash fro someone down the line. The Packers should be viable for the next few years for sure.Good call on your part.WHo on defense is gone? Hawk ( for cap reasons?) Woodson? If they want to sign Raji,Mathews and Rodgers long term the cash has to come from somewhere.Erik Walden is unrestricted,he can be gone.Brad Jones,id resign him,he plays all 4 spots.Ryan Pickett is coming up soon.Evan D-S is a FA as well i think. We can use a Center for sure! Lang and Sitton at Guards are fine. Most important we need Sherrod back at LT,he did fine while he was there but that injury was nasty and he needed surgery on 2 bones and not surprisingly he couldnt do all the drills,so hopefully an offseason of working out, physical theropy will get him back.there is also Andrew Datko who has that bum shoulder in college and needs to add strength and a year on the practice squad just may have proven himself ready and healthy,i just wonder if he can play LT.Bulaga should be back at RT and Barclay did ok but struggled abit at the end like many would expect, but,at least he proved he can play a bit and will grow as we go

Damn straight, and we really should commend that kind of program and consistancy....i live in Florida now, and have become kinda a Dolphin fan, which gives you a twice a year education in just how good, the Pats are.....how the fins traded Welker is beyond me....I think he needs a ring....Pats vs 49ers would be a great matchup....
