I think the vikes have had a very good offseason. The new coaches combined with the many young players builds for a promising start for a grand turn around. I used to enjoy the vikings very boring offense and outdated tampa 2 type defense. The vikings have acquired many early round picks in the recent drafts and the new coaches seem competent to use them properly. Things might be looking up!

As a Packer fan I know I have been tough on the vikings in recsent years..... but I was not wrong about them and they proved me right. They deserved it, they sucked.

It appears as though this is an all new team and I will have to wait and see how they come together before bad mouthing them this year. I still think it will take a few years before they become consistent contenders for the NFCN or even NFC.

Best wishes viking fans for the start of the 2014 season. I do of course hope you suck again but not so much you get a top 10 draft pick yet again!

When you put C. Patterson with Greg Jennings,,then add in Rudolph at TE, Peterson the all time great at RB and Matt Cassel ( who can manage a game,,not great but certainly serviceable) that is a pretty damn solid offense..THen they always have a good front 7,,throw in Harrison Smith at safety back from Injured list, they can be a pretty solid team.
Minne. problem is Detroit has a much better coaching staff so they should be better just right there, they get a better and different attitude.and of course GB is the favorite until someone beats them, Chicago is solid on offense except for qb and who knows about their defense,we know GB can win with a shitty defense ( they have) but the def. should be a bit better

Stop kissing their ass. You look scared and pathetic. Is this a preseason cover up excuse for the beating from a viking team and a loser like norv Turner? Stop now.

I'm more excited about Teddy than the Vikings prospects this year. He's played with poise never obtained by the likes of ponder, Tarvaris, or Webb.
He's far from a finished product, but as soon as the 3 and out winds begin to blow, Teddy may be pressed into service. If he actually is ready at this stage of his career, that would be an added bonus.
Replacing Allen and KWill along the line may be difficult, but the addition of Linval, Barr, and Captain, along with Zimmer' reputation for outstanding defense, could be the beginning of a respectable team here in Minnesota.
Be afraid Viking foes, be very afraid

Geez, that was the most civil posting by a Packer fan in regards to the Vikings that I have seen in 20 years.

Such as the battle field and the Purple Heart and the Medal of honor? I doubt you have seen much at all fake war hero. I think you spend must of the day with your head up your butt. I think the only thing you can see is all those smelly little turds up your arse.... I bet you got a great view of that!

There is nothing wrong with inserting cheese into your butt. I do it every draft, it clears my mind and helps me chose bust QB's.
