Not quite. Peyton Manning had a chance to be considered "The Greatest of All Time." With one terrible throw, he's now in a dead heat with Favre for the title of "Greatest Regular Season QB of All Time" as well as "Greatest Playoff Choker."

Yes, it should have been the Vikings lead by Favre, and if the Vikings are able to sign him up for at least one more year, it could be the Vikings next year, however, they better figure out what to do with the fumbling fantasy known as Adrian Peterson who once upon a time long ago he had a very good season, now since that time from long ago he is very instrumental in causing the Vikings defeat.

I don't care. i find it depressing i enjoyed the game i guess in a way. thought the kicker was the unsung hero. it should have been the vikings, if it weren't for Brad Childress, who is bad luck in big games. It;s all his fault. get rid of him.

Vikes just need to fix their offensive line, bring everyone else back andthey will get their ring next year. Just think, Vikes would have their title today if they would have eliminated 1 or 2 mistakes out of the many that they had. Life goes on!

It might have been if your ego did not get in the way. Throwing that last pass cross field was was a rookie mistake but your inflated ego said "I can be a hero if this works" and look what happened.

Sorry, but I just can't congratulate the Saints. They play dirty (as dirty as the officials will let them) football, I'm tired of hearing about "rebuilding" after Katrina and all that "kakka" and after watching them all but blockade Len Dawson on his way to the presentation stand with the trophy after the game, I'm left with the impression that they're a bunch of selfish, self serving LOSERS!!!

I agree - they will not shut up about a stupid hurricane that occurred what - 5 years ago? They won the game for the people of Katrina - give me a break - soooo tired of hearing about those poor, poor people who can't seem to help themselves out of a wet paper bag! Saints are the dirtiest football players in the league. This win just reinforces my belief that the games are all bought.

Well, at least we can say we almost beat the superbowl champs in the playoffs. We'll see what happens next year.

Only problem is that Favre has a history of throwing the interception that keeps his team out of the Super Bowl. Time to retire Brett.

Who cares. They shouldn't have been there in the first place. Too bad dirty play gets rewarded. We know it, the NFL knows it, any knowledgeable football fan knows it. Brees definitely played well and deserved the MVP.

The reason the Saints "won it all" is they had no turnovers, as in NONE! No interceptions and no fumbles.

The Vikings had 5 turnovers in the loss to the Saints, the Saints had none during the whole playoffs.

The Colts had one turnover, and it cost them the game.

Please stop with the excuses and woulda, shoulda, couldas.....wow, admit it Vikings fans, Favre choked, AP choked, Childress choked, Jared Allen who?-choked! You cant spend your lives whining about if's and but's, deal with it in the fact that you are in the pack with the Twins and Wild and T-Wolves in that your just a mediocre team with moments of greatness...Please though, just move on and accept that SAINTS ARE SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!!!!
