I reject the "America's Team" label. A leading 22 percent of fans tabbed the Packers as their favorite team, according to a Public Policy Polling survey. So that is the way they should say it: The Packers are America's favorite team. That's fine. I love that many people love the Packers. However, the Packers are owned by their fans -- literally! The Packer's are NOT America's team. Many Americans haven't earned the right to claim the Packers. I welcome everybody that wants to claim the Packers, but until they do, the Packers are not their team.

It was a survey taken in New Orleans where many people still wear bags on their heads. A majority there are smart enough to prefer the NFL's record holding 13 time Champions though. I saw that for myself when the Packers won a Super Bowl at the Super Dome. The city was full of Packer fans.

Welcome a Packer nightmare.

As we both know the Saints are playing the Lions this week and the Fal-cants are playing the Giants. Let's say for argument purposes that the Saints and the Giants win. Quite plausible don't you think?
What happens next? A cold weather team goes to GreenBay, the Giants and win. And the Saints go to San Fran AND win. Saints host the NFCC game in the dome.

In my mind I see the Packers beating the Broncos in the Super Bowl to avenge the Packer's only Super Bowl loss. I know the odds of that matchup are slim, but I like my fantasy much more than your fantasy.

And the survey still finds that the Packers are America's favorite team. The Packer's are also Vegas' favorite team. The Packers are just flat out "the favorite."

Why? Are the Saints going to lose? My nightmare may come true if the Packers don't get to host the Saints at Lambeau Field.

The Saints have only played one outdoor game in their last 10 and that was a five point win over the Titans. Their other outdoor games this season were 2 losses, a 3 point win over the Panthers and their "big success" a 13 point win over the Jaguars. Do you remember the Saint's last outdoor playoff game? I know some Seahawk fans remember. I'm not sure how the Saints will get by the 49ers, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I think it's impossible for any team to have the indoor/outdoor contrast that the Saints have. Certainly, the Giants can't have it. The Giants play their games outdoors, don't they? So I don't think that will throw the Giants off their game.

The Giants are definitely dangerous, but so are the Packers. If you feel strongly about the Giants, I'm sure you can get some very good odds in Vegas. Bet the house!

Sorry Nancy. I figured that if you can dish it out, you could take it too. Obviously, I was wrong. I'll try not to say anything to offend your delicate sensibilities. You bruise much too easily. From now on, I will keep in mind how soft you are.

Why? Because you lost it and started swearing and name calling? As I said, I'm sorry Nancy. I didn't realize you were so thin skinned.
