Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

The New England Patriots didn't totally silence Anthony Smith. Despite a 34-13 loss Sunday to New England that revealed significant flaws in the Pittsburgh Steelers' defense and their game plan, Smith says he ...

he is also an idiot for not learning the first time. someone in his locker room needs to sit him down and explain this. after you make the first guarantee and intentionally get embarrassed by the best team on two really long touchdowns the last thing you should do is guarantee another meeting in the playoffs. hey anthony, you got what you really wanted, people to notice you. too bad it was for getting embarrassed and not because you were playing a good game.

Mike Tomlin must have run out of duct tape. No other reason that Smith's mouth isn't taped shut.

You would think so, but there he is, out running his yap again. You say you don't think he's dumb, but after last week's debacle, a smarter man would have just kept his head down and mouth shut.

Different Smith, obviously, but a loss at defensive end for the Steelers. They could afford to lose Anthony Smith, based on the way he played Sunday.

You just can't get much of ANYTHING right, can you? It's an AP story out of Schittesburg about the same old 3rd string squeeler that was made to look foolish last Sunday.
Too bad he can't play up to his talk. As for piGEOns, that term is reserved for losers, and a 21 point drubbing proves just who the losers are.

Bill, the guy is still talking after being embarrassed. Even the announcers had fun with his prediction. He doesn't appear to have learned much.

"ther Steelers and Pats will meet again"

He sounds like some dumb redneck babbling about how "the South will rise again".

Funny, the South fought the North knowing all the gun factories were in New England.

Yep, them Steelers wanna do the same thing; all the guns are still in New England.

Smith=slow learner, short bus rider.

Funniest development on the boards?

Red/neck is now regarded as a bad word.

Think about that.

Yahoo has finally discovered something every intelligent American has known for years.

Red/necks have now reached a point of ridicule and disdain that their very name has become a bad word.

Now, that's worth a chuckle!

I have not heard or seen anything other than he expects to see the PATS again in the playoffs. For sure he's proven he's not a prophet, but I regard this statement as being optimistic. He did'nt gaurantee anything.

In the article he says that he's CERTAIN that the Steelers will see the Pats in the playoffs; not EXPECTS. That sounds like another prediction.

That's just the kind of stuff I tire of. I read the article and his word is CERTAIN. Now I'm supposedly wrong for reading it EXACTLY as he said it, and you are interpreting it.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Virgo

Someone is easily angered today, and you'll want to tiptoe around them at every opportunity. They might be on the defensive and imagine that you're getting at them all the time, or they could be quick to point the finger of blame straight at you. It won't be an easy day, but try not to get swept up in the emotional dramas that are swirling around you. They'll only exhaust you.
