First time long time! I have been a PATRIOT fan for as long as I can remember! I grew up under the coaching guidelines of one Ron Burton(#22)! Former NORTWESTERN ALL-AMERICAN running back and HEISMEN RUNNER-UP(1959). He was recently inducted into the Colleg Football Hall of Fame.
For the new fans @ home He was a true star for the BOSTON PATRIOTS!(1960-1966). The class that this man taught me, such as love, not only for the game, but also your teammates,(which I have never seen from RANDY (81)MOSS, until he reached this type of squad. He also taught us humility,& patience, which is stated early this week by the whole team sporting shirts that read "Hummble Pie" on the front and "I EAT IT" on the back. Seeing this confirms to me that these TEAM PLAYERS are "ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL". He also said "never look ahead, always challenge what's infront of you!" He would have loved to see the Teams of late pull together like this. He passed in spring 2003 from bone cancer of which his doctors only gave him six mounths to live, in 2000. He got to see their last 3 SUPERBOWL VICTORYS. ALL this from a man who dominated life as well as the game! To me undefeated dosn't seem that impossible! Any thing is possible if you stay focussed! HE is lovingly missed! DON FOWLER Council/Camper/Family Friend RON BURTON TRAINING VILLAGE HUBBARDSTON MA. |

...yes its true...the colts came up short just like the rest will in 2008...Steelers included... |
|||
...stacking up 200 wins out of 229 doesn't leave much room for anyone to come up "big enough" for this dynasty... |

1 The diagnosis requires that at least 2 and sometimes up to 20 personalities routinely take control of the individual's behavior with an associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness; in addition, symptoms cannot be due to substance abuse or medical condition. Some believe that DID should be re-classified as a trauma disorder caused by occurrences such as your favorite team (Patriots) going 18-0 and failing short of winning the Super Bowl. Prolonged childhood abuse is frequently a factor, with a very high percentage of patients reporting documented abuse often confirmed by objective evidence. Like when Michael Jackson abused Skidrow “Skidmarks” Wilson at the Neverland Valley Ranch. The diagnostic criteria require: The presence of two or more distinct identities or personality states, each with its own relatively enduring pattern of perceiving, relating to, and thinking about the environment and self. At least two of these identities or personality states recurrently take control of the person's behavior. Inability to recall important personal information that is too extensive to be explained by ordinary forgetfulness. In children like Skidrow “Skidmarks” Wilson, the symptoms are not attributable to imaginary playmates or other fantasy play. DID does not resolve spontaneously, and symptoms vary over time. Individuals with primarily dissociative symptoms and features of posttraumatic stress disorder normally recover with treatment. Those with comorbid addictions, personality, mood, or eating disorders face a longer, slower, and more complicated recovery process. Individuals still attached to abusers (Michael Jackson and the Patriots) face the poorest prognosis; treatment may be long-term and consist solely of symptom relief rather than personality integration.
