Minnesota Vikings still like Joe Webb's versatility, can-do attitude
"I'm a team player so when the coaches come to me and say, 'Joe, I need you to do this, I need you to do that,' I'm all for it," Webb said.

Im all for keeping Webb as long as hes contributing.Id hate to see him fall into an opponents hands but so far he hasnt done much. That could be coaching cause they didnt let him play his game.

I don't know if it is the Vikes coaches to blame. I remember reading about Webb's college days, He ran for over 1400 yards in 2009 & he wasn't in a read option offense I think Webb has the arm & maybe he would have been better read option offense But in that kindof offense theQB has got to be able to know what he is seeing on defense & I don't think Webb can. I Think Webb was given the right chance to prove himself to throw him in a playoff game & never to have played as a starter was a lot ot ask of him for sure Vut the way the Vikes season went with Ponder up & down then up again they didn't really have much of a choice. If the Vikes knew they was in the playoffs before that last game maybe then the coaches could have Ponder sit & play Webb butthey they didn't have the apportunity.

Maybe if Webb was given the right chance But the Vikes record didn't allow it.
