This time last year I put Cam Newton on the map. Robert Griffin Jr of Baylor has entered Andrew Lucks neighborhood, has the accuracy to replace him as the 2011 number 1 pick.

The only problem is he played the likes of TCU and SFA...those teams will make alot of QBs look good...

Will have to see how he does during the 3 game stretch of OU, Texas Tech, and UT...

Robert Griffin Jr III just lost to my an unranked team before the game! I acutually earned my graduate degree from Kstate a few years back. I remember watching Darren Sproils (New Orleans) and Terence Newman (Dallas).

Todays football a top QB is needed to win. I want Ponder to have a fair chance but I never thought he could be a top NFL QB.

Luck, Jones, Griffin, Barkley all have superbowl talent. Why we panicked and reached in 2011 when we could sit back draft a better QB in 2012 I'll never know.

So Griffin is now a Super Bowl QB because he won against TCU and SFA? Nice....

And Barkley has done what? Just wait til he measures in at 6'1" and displays an average arm. Oh yeah, he can't make a 2nd read to save his life.

Luck is the only QB that has shown true Elite potential this year.

I like last years class better.

No Griffin is a super bowl QB because he is completing 82 percent of his passes and has almost more TD than incompletions.

I would compare Barkley to Carson Palmer, not great but you can win with him. Not my type a QB, I want a mobile QB. Speaking of... Landry Jones has 300 yards in the first half.

Do you think Ponder better than Jones, Griffin? I don't neither does Kiper McShay who had Ponder as a 3rd rd talent. Griffin and Jones are first.

I wouldnt go on everything Mel Kiper has to say about QB's coming out of collage, Lets not forget that it was Mell that said JaMarcus Russell was the next John Elway. I like Luck alot & I didnt know that Griffin's completion rating was 82% & almost more TD's then incompletions. WOW I need to look up some of his games. should give me something to do today. Thanks Avant some good info.

So you are saying back 2 back drafts Vikes select a QB with the first pick????

No way........start Ponder now, the young man needs some playing time, Luck should not even be a topic.

Seriously folks??? Luck. A QB in this league with any type of reps and exp. can put up numbers, it is a vertical game, Vikes have no burners to stretch the field, good slotguy in Harvin but that is it. Steelers will do fine today beause they have 2 guys that can go deep. This game has changed and the Vikes do not have ther Right personnel at WR.

Hey, 1-4, going nowhere.

Ponder starts by week 8. Berrian, Kleindropper, and a bunch of others are gone next year.........Luck and Ponder and wheeling and dealing for a pair of burner WRs are not unreasonable roster aspirations.
