Politics aside, the guy can play. Green Bay was ready to move on. They are doing well, so is he. Are we making this bigger than it is by not letting it go. He's happy, they are happy. His friends are still his friends, his true fans are still his fans. I don't care what color he wears the game is generally exciting when hes in it. I think there are more pressing issues for the mayor than how to stick it to Brett Favre.

Hi there fans. wis. is a good sports state and i just feel we should not say one thing good or bad. when he comes on the field just do nothing one way or the other. to boo him will might want to make them play even harder to prove a point and to give him his day would make him feel like ya you miss me. one thing he can't stand is to do nothing when he comes out on the field. just act like he is not there. just think what it would be like if you walked out and no one did a thing. they did not care if you were there or not. that will stop him cold and the hole team as well. thankyou for the time. but we have moved on.

As a long time TV fan of Channel 6, I am now turning to another station. "Brett Favre Follies " was the final blow as as I listened to your news program this evening. Don't you think that Brett has a choice of what and where he works, just like anyone else here in the USA??? I was NEVER a football fan, period, until I started to watch Brett play several years ago and watched him play and enjoy the game that I had thought was one of the most brutal, forms of entertainment. I still do not enjoy seeing any of the players being carried off of the field; but I still enjoy wathching Brett play because he LOVES the game of football and is not out there to make as many friends with the TV announcers as he can!!!! You are begin totally disrepectful by continuing to keep this media hype becoming an insult to the people who have faithfully watched your news broadcasts!!!! LET IT GO!!!!! I really don't care if this is posted, I just had to let off a little steam to your Fox TV news! I will no longer be a faithful listener!

Favre deserves to be booed by true Packer fans. He was supposed to be as loyal to the organization as any one of us lifelong fans. But, he hasn't been loyal and now takes pride in playing for a rival team hoping to "stick it to Ted". He gets more pathetic each time he opens his mouth.

Favre should be cheered. He never wanted to leave the Packers. He may have retired prematurely, but he said he wanted to play for the Packers. They didn't want him back. They turned their backs on everything he did for them and decided to look to the future. For people to say he's a traitor is preposterous. He just wanted to play and he's proved that he's more than capable. Which is why when I heard that this station was going to be running Favre's top Follies it made me sick. I'll never watch Fox6News again. Just like the Packers you've lost me as a viewer.

I love Brett Favre... Deep down every Packer fan does. But come Sunday, when he comes into town wearing that hideous purple Halloween costume, "real" Packer fans will not stand and applaud. After his playing days are over, he is welcome to come back and we will give him the love that he earned over his 16 years here. But as long as he's wearing the purple, he is the enemy. He manipulated the system so he could get his way, and I hope he understands that he is not above the rivalry. Boo him... boo him until you can't boo anymore, and then leave and give your ticket to someone standing outside so he or she can come and boo him some more. Today, he is no different than John Randle, Cris Carter, Randy Moss or Jared Allen. And if he's lights us up, that's all the more reason to spite him. Here's to Number 4 getting blind-sided by Clay Matthews and a pick-six from Charles Woodson.

Personally, I feel like a 30-minute long chant of "AA-RON-ROD-GERS" during pregame and before the kickoff would be sweet

I sure hope they add my two turn overs from the Steelers game to the Fox6News Favre's top Follies.

Boo him.
Mercilessly. Non-stop. He QUIT. He is no longer a Packer. He thought he was bigger than the team and he was wrong. The Packers were here before him, they'll be here long after he retires. Again.
Boo him.

Ryan Longwell is the Packer's all time leading scorer. Do we cheer for him when he plays against the Packers. Highly unlikely. Favre is no different. He is a Viking. We are Packer fans. We cheer for Packer players. If you are cheering for Favre, you are cheering for a Viking. Viking fans cheer for Viking players. You shouldn't call yourself a Packer fan if you plan to cheer for Brett Favre on Sunday! Make sense? Save your cheers for when he returns to Green Bay as a retiree!!

Brett Favre is coming, Brett Favre is coming! And boy is he pi$$ed-off! I wish we never made him mad. O lawdy, lawdy! What is we gonna do, what is we gonna due. I hope he shows some mercy. Please everybody, pray for our salvation with me....

Oh Merciful Favre in Purple...we beseech you, have compasssion on us that have doubted you. You are indeed the greatest. We are but a shell of the once moderately successful Green & Gold. Take my wife and daughter, please.

What happened to the Packer Organization when they shut the door in his face. I love the Packers, but I hope he can stick it to Thomson right in the rear.

Jeered of course. He is a traitor to the fans and team. He lost all my respect when he left then wanted to play expecting a spot on team. Thats like quitting your job and expecting your former employer to keep it for you. If I was there at lambeau I would boo until I was hoarse!

My husband and I attended the Packer Viking game at the Metrodome. We didn't cheer for Brett, of course, and we don't be cheering for him next Sunday, either. It's just too much like an ex-boyfriend dating someone new, and I would not be inclined to wish him or his new team well.

I have mixed feelings on this, but Favre gave Green Bay 16 years of great football, and that is what we should try and remember. If I was at the game I would CHEER him, but I hope the Pack beats the pants off the Vikings!

We need to remember what Brett Favre did for the Packers! All he wants to do is play, and at his age we need to be proud of him. He never left the Packers--Ted Thompson wanted him gone! I love to see him play--I'm a true packer fan, always will be--but I'm a true Brett Favre fan too!! Everyone needs to chill out alittle!!
